Jeremy's P.O.V

It's been a week since Caroline went hunting on her own and I've been home everyday taking care of her and making sure, she's healing properly.

As I walked in our bedroom, I notice that she isn't in bed and I have a slight panic attack, until I notice a silhouette out on the balcony and I start to relax.

"Why aren't you in bed?" i ask wrapping my arms around her small waist, both of us enjoying the view of the sunset.

"Hello to you too Jeremy." she says as she turned around to look at me.

You know that moment, that first time you witnessed something beyond the words breath taking? Well for me, i re-lived that day daily because that's how i could describe my wife.

I loved her from the thick beautiful black hair that sat on her head, bright blue eyes, that one cute dimple that surfaces whenever she smiled and laughs. Her short height that complimented my tall one, her sweet personality, even her annoying chewing.

"Why aren't you in bed? Is your leg okay?" I ask again making sure she isn't in any kind of pain.

"I'm fine. I'm just tired of being in bed all day. I want to go out again." she says the last part making sure her eyes pierce into mine. She knows i become a sucker then she does that.

"Yeah you want to go out and get almost killed again." i reply trying my hardest not to give in.

"Almost. It was a thrill though." she said smiling, looking like she was recalling the entire incident.

She loved it?!

"Caroline you nearly died! And you're telling me you loved it?!" I asked her, feeling myself getting upset.

She doesn't understand what would happen if she was hurt, taken away from me. I cared about her too much.

"I'm still here aren't I?" she asked in a totally different tone, walking back into the bedroom.

"If I didn't save you, you wouldn't even be talking this bullshit right now." i say following closely behind her.

"I was going to handle it." she said rolling her eyes while sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Don't roll your eyes at me."

"Sorry dad." she says reaching for her cellphone.

"You're so childish at times you know that."

She walked up to me until I was looking down in her blues eyes. "Say it one more time." she commanded seductively.

I stared at her, my breath caught in my throat. I was frozen. It's not what she said, it's how she said it. She locked eyes with me when she said it. Her sweet angelic voice was the only thing i kept replaying in my head. She could bring any man to his knees just by looking at them and saying a simple sentence.

"Thought so." with that she left and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

After she left the room i regained myself. I didn't know if it good or bad how easily she could get my guard down.

Caroline's P.O.V

My brother hasn't returned any of my texts for the past two days and i was beginning to worry, hence i had to leave right away before i lost my mind. I have forgotten how ruthless that woman my father married is, and I left him with her. What if something bad happened? I'll never be able to forgive myself if something bad happened to him, to Brittany too.
