*Outfit of the day^^*
JULY 11th, 2017
Kris was a little bummed not playing in the all star game this year, but we're back home in Vegas, yes we bought a house out here and moving things into our new house this short break. "Babe, where do you even want to get married?" Kris asked as we plopped down onto our couch.
I sighed and leaned my head on his shoulder. "I don't know, but we have venues to look at today actually." I said and he groaned. "We did that all day yesterday! There can't be anymore to look at!" He said and I laughed and got up.
"Yes there is two more and I'm sure one of them will be it." I said sticking my hand out for him to grab so I could help him up. "I don't get why you're so dressed up for this." He said as we walked out of our house and to his car.
"I am not even that dressed up!" I said getting into the passengers seat and putting the address into the GPS. "You're wearing heels, I consider that as dressed up!" He said with a laugh as he backed out of the driveway.
"Psh, I just wear these so I look somewhat tall compared to you." I said as I stared out the window at the changing scenery. "What was it like? Living in Maryalnd, with the different seasons." He asked.
"I mean the summer was the same as here, maybe more humid if that's even possible. The springs were like the winters here as well as the fall and sometimes during the winter there was snow and I love snow and it's so pretty." I said as I smiled over at him.
"I wanna see snow! I don't live in Chicago in the winter so I don't get to experience it." He said as we pulled up to the venue. "Wow, its gorgeous." I said as I got out of the car and I already knew this was the place we were getting married and having the reception.
"Hey there guys! You ready to check this place out?" Our wedding planner asked, we needed one because we really didn't have time to do everything with our schedules being so hectic. "Yes, this place looks absolutely stunning." I said as we walked into the building.
"This place will be perfect for all the decorations you have for the wedding and will hold all your family and friends and look absolutely gorgeous in the background of all your pictures." She said as we finished looking through the place.
"So what do you guys think?" She asked as we went back outside. "I love the place, but we should ask Kris, because my answer is yes." I said looking at him and and he looked down at me and smiled.
"This is where we're getting married." He said as we wrapped his arms around me in a hug and I squealed and kissed his cheek. "I can't wait for your wedding. I'm going to make all of your dreams come true. I'll see you two soon." She said as she hugged the both of us and we went our separate ways.
"I can't believe. That's where we're getting married." I said as we drove off to meet both of our parents for dinner. "It's getting so surreal Kris, I can't wait to be married to you." He said as he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"We need to have security." I said out loud. "Why would we need that?" He asked as we pulled up to the restaurant but not getting out of the car. "Because who knows what Matthew will do to sabotage our wedding. I mean I have the restraining order on him, but he knows we're getting married here and what day. I don't want anything going wrong."
He sighed. "Nothing will happen on my watch at our wedding. He can't ruin our special day." He said as he kissed me and then got out of the car and headed into the restaurant. "Mom, dad!" I said as I hugged them both and then went onto Kris' parents.
"Did you guys pick a venue yet?" Sue asked after we all ordered our food. "We actually just came from the venue and you guys are going to love it." I said looking at Kris. "Has everything gotten better with you know who?" My mom asked and I sighed.
"Nothing has happened lately but god knows what could potentially happen. We were just talking about that on the way over here. We're having security at the wedding. At least a little." I said.
"He's really that persistent that you need security at your own wedding?" Sue asked and I sighed and nodded. "Yeah because I'm really scared. He could come back and forget the restraining order and just barge in and that's not what I want happening." I said.
"Well whatever you decided, we're behind you one hundred percent." Mike said and I smiled at them. "Thank you guys, that means a lot." I said and we made some more small talk before our food came and we ate.
"When will we see you guys again?" My mom asked as we were saying our goodbyes. "Come out in August and stay with us." I said with a smile. "Can we go to a game?" My dad asked and Kris and I laughed.
"Of course you guys can! Is that even a question." I said as I hugged my mom and then my dad. "We will see you guys soon. Just let me know when you guys are going to come in and we will coordinate everything. Mike and Sue, you guys should come too." I said as I hugged them as well.
"We might just take you up on that offer. We will see you guys soon." Sue said as we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. "You're just so nice." Kris said with a laugh as we were laying in bed.
"I know, I just miss my parents and I know you do too. It'll be nice to have them around for a few days and go to some games." I said as I cuddled into him and he kissed my forehead. "I know, I just wish we could get the days off." He said and I laughed.
"Well maybe I can, but you the star player, cannot." I said and he laughed. "You got that right. We have a long day tomorrow, get some rest beautiful, I love you." He said as he kissed me.
"I love you too Kristopher."
