Chapter 20

JULY 24TH, 2017 

Since the All-Star break, the guys have found their groove again and they're back to the way they were playing last year. They were 8-1 since then and they have just been a lot happier in the club house and it's a great feeling to be winning again. 

Today starts the series against with the town rivals, the White Sox. I can't wait to see who will win the cup this year, I'm just hoping that it's us since we're playing so good right now. Nothing can stop us and it's great. 

"Babe, are you ready to head to the ballpark?" Kris asked from outside the bathroom door as I was getting ready for the day. "Yeah almost!" I said back and he sighed. "Why do you have to get done up all the time for work?" He asked as I opened the door to see him leaning against it. 

"Because I like to look nice for work and not look like a scrub." I said with a laugh as I put on my sneakers. "Are you trying to impress anyone?" He asked and I let out a laugh and then realized that he was being dead serious. 

"Yeah you." I said nonchalantly. I looked up at him and his face softened. "Okay good, I thought you were gonna cheat on me with someone." He said and I hugged him. "Kris, I would never cheat on you. I've been cheated on before and I wouldn't want you going through the pain that I went through. Plus, everyone is either in a relationship or they're married." I said to him. 

"God I just love you so much." He said as he leaned down to kiss me. "Easy boy, we have a game to play." I said as I pulled away and he laughed. "Fine, but can we continue this when we get home later? I've missed you." He said referring to our sex life, which has been non existent lately. 

"Of course we can, win or lose, you can have your way with me tonight." I said with a wink as I got out of his grip and went downstairs to grab some things before we went to the ballpark. "Alright got everything?" He asked as he came downstairs and I nodded and we went out to his car and went off to the ballpark. 

I kissed him before he went into the locker room and I went into the training room getting everything set up for the guys before the game started. "What's got Kris in a good mood today?" Anthony asked as he sat down at my table to get a massage. 

"I don't know what you mean." I said with a laugh. "Did you give him some this morning?" He asked and I smacked the back of his head. "No I absolutely did not. But I did promise him some later win or lose, so that's probably why he's all happy." I said shrugging my shoulders. 

"I sense you guys haven't been having a lot of sex lately then." He said and I sighed. "You would be right. I've just been so stressed out with the wedding and this job and everything with Matthew that I haven't really wanted that time with Kris anymore and I feel so bad about it." I said.

"Don't feel bad. He completely understands everything you're going through and respects you for it. He talks to me about it all the time." He said. "Oh does he now? Good to know." I said as I patted his back signaling that I was done with him. 

"It's nothing bad, I promise. He just adores you so much and sometimes he can't tell you because he knows you'll just brush it off because he tells you how much he loves you every day." He said. "I'm just afraid if I can't give him what he wants, that he'll break of the engagement and leave and find another girl who can." 

"That would never happen and you know that." I heard Kris' voice from the door. "Well that's my cue to leave. See you later Sky." He said as he walked out the door and patted Kris on the back. Kris walked over to me and wrapped me up in his arms. 

"Do you really think that babe?" He asked as he titled my head up to look at him and I just nodded and tears formed in my eyes. "Our sex life has been lacking so much because of me lately and I don't want you to leave and find it with someone else. I'm sorry I'm overreacting." I said as I wiped my eyes. 

"Skylar, I love you more than life itself. I would never want anyone else besides you. Who cares we haven't been intimate lately? That's not the whole thing about being in a relationship or being engaged. I just love spending time with you, with or without the sex." He said as he kissed me. 

"I don't even know how I got so lucky with you Kris." I said and he smiled at me. "I could say the same thing but I have a game to go play, so I'll see you later." He said as he kissed me one last time before leaving the training room. 

They ended up losing 1-3, but the real winner was Kris tonight, with me of course. God I'm so c corny. I cleaned everything up that needed to be cleaned up. "Hey you ready to go home?" I heard Kris say as I had my back turned to him. 

"Yeah, let's get going." I said as I grabbed my bag and walked over to him and gave him a kiss. He intertwined our fingers and went out to his car and went home. As soon as we walked through the door, we both dropped our bags and Kris lifted me up and pinned me against the closed door. 

"Oh is some eager?" I asked as he smirked at me and kissed me and then started walking to our bedroom, lips still attached moving as fast as they could. He opened the door to our bedroom and then slammed it behind us as he laid me on the bed and finally detached his lips from mine. 

"You've got too many clothes on, let's change that." He said with a smirk and began to take every piece of clothing that I had on. "I could say the same thing about you know." I said as I kissed him and then began to unbutton his dress shirt very slowly and then undressed the rest of him. 

"Skip the foreplay tonight?" He asked as he got a condom from the nightstand. "Of course, just fuck me already Kris." I said aching for him to be inside of me. "Your wish is my command baby girl." He said as he positioned himself and just entered me without warning. 

I let out a loud moan and he kissed me to suppress them, we have close neighbors as we live in an apartment. "Shhh baby girl, we don't want any noise complaints, now do we?" He asked as he was still thrusting into me. "No we don't, god fuck Kris you feel so good." I said as I leaned up to kiss him. 

"God baby, you feel so good." Kris said as he let out a groan and his pace started to slow down signaling that he had finished. He pulled out ever so slowly, antagonizing me and then going to the bathroom to clean up. 

I pulled the covers over my bare body and waited for Kris to come back into bed. "I love you so much baby girl. You have no idea." He said as he climbed back into bed with me. "I love you too Kris, so much."
