Today was it, the day I finally get to married to my best friend and spend the rest of my life with him. We've been keeping a secret to everyone since my bachelorette party, we're having a baby. Secretly that is, I haven't told a single person, not even my parents and during our vows, we're dropping the news on everyone.
"Are you ready for your big day?" Emily asked as we were all sitting in the back room of the church getting ready. Yes, Anthony did end up proposing on Christmas morning and I'm so excited because she asked me to be the maid of honor!
"I'm beyond ready. I can't wait to marry Kris, I'm just nervous because if Matthew shows up, he's going to ruin everything." I said as the makeup artist was doing my makeup. "Don't even worry about that, security knows exactly what he looks like and they're checking invitations as they come in. Whoever is supposed to be here, will be here. Nothing can ruin your day." She said and I smiled.
She was right, nothing can ruin how I'm feeling on this day. "Sweetie, this is from Kris." My mom said handing me a box and an envelope. I opened the box first and there was a beautiful bracelet with the date engraved and our initials as well.
I opened the envelope and read what Kris wrote.
Dear Sky,
Happy wedding day beautiful. I can't believe that the day is here and I finally get to call you my wife instead of my finacé I've waited for this day since the sixth grade and I know you have too. Not one person can ruin this for us and I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle in that beautiful dress of yours. I love you so much Skylar, can't wait to finally make you Mrs. Bryant.

I wiped some stray tears from my face trying not to ruin my makeup. I normally wouldn't have cried but these damn hormones keep making me cry at any little thing. "Girl don't cry! You'll ruin your makeup!" Emily said as she hugged me.
"Oh girl, it's just happy tears that I'm finally marrying the man of my dreams." I said as she handed me a tissue. "I can't wait for that day." She said day dreaming about her wedding now. After I calmed down, it was finally time to get dressed and time for the ceremony.
Everyone had lined up and the flower girl and ring bearer had gone in and then one by one and then the music played and I linked my arm through my dads and went through the doors and I looked around at all our friends and family and then my eyes locked with Kris.
The biggest smile came to my face and I saw him in his tuxedo and he had tears in his eyes, that was one goal of mine, to make my husband cry when he sees me as I walk down the aisle. I reached the end of the aisle and my dad gave me a hug and a kiss and then shook Kris' hand.
The ceremony went on without any disruptions and then it was finally time to do our vows and announce to our friends and family that we were having a baby. Kris got handed the mic and he went first, I was telling everyone that I was pregnant.
"Sky, my love, you have made my whole world brighter ever since the sixth grade. You've been my only love and my supporter, and my best friend. I can't believe that we've been best friends since the sixth grade and now we're living out both of our dreams and getting married to each other. Every time we used to joke around about this day that we never thought it would actually come. But here it is, the day all my dreams come true, you get to become Mrs. Bryant and I intend on making you the happiest you've ever been and supporting you through everything you do. I honestly can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you Skylar, forever and always." He said and I just couldn't wait to kiss him.
He handed me the mic and now it was my turn. "Kris, words can't describe how happy you've made me ever since the sixth grade. Sure, we went our separate ways when I moved, but you never left my mind once and it was always you who I wanted to be with. I've loved you ever since the sixth grade and probably could've married you then, but I'm pretty sure that's illegal. You've been my light on the darkest days and my saving grace on the tough days and my absolute favorite person on the brightest days of our life. You and I have an amazing love story that everyone should have in their life, find your prince charming and I've definitely found just that in you. You're my love, my husband and coming in September, my baby daddy. Yes you heard right, Kris and I are having a baby! But don't tell the public just yet... I love you Kris and I can't wait to start our family together."
Everyone cheered as I announced that we were having a baby. The priest went through the rest of the ceremony and finally it was time to kiss Kris as my husband. He brought me and put his lips to mine and everyone cheered.
"I love you Mrs. Bryant." He said as he we pulled away from each other. "I love you too Mr. Bryant." I said and Emily handed me my flowers and we walked down the aisle as everyone cheered for us.
"So how do you feel knowing that everyone knows you're pregnant now?" Kris asked as we were in the limo going over to the reception. "I mean I wish we were still in our little bubble with it, but I couldn't hide it for much longer and I'm excited for the rest of the pregnancy." I said as I leaned my head on his shoulder.
"I can't wait for the rest of my life with you Sky. I love you." He said as he kissed my forehead. "I love you too Kris, and I can't wait either."
