Peridot X Reader

Arrived

We arrived very suddenly and we both barely got out of the ship. After we did manage to get out, we saw it had been almost completely destroyed! There was no turning back now.

We stood there for about a minute looking at the wreckage and the small crater it had made when it had crashed on Earth in silence. We didn't know what to say.

Soon enough, I felt something wet fall on me. Moments later I was being covered by this strange liquid, so we ran inside a cave for shelter. 

Again, we still didn't know what to say to each other. We were both shaking from the intense cold. How long would we last on this strange new planet, I don't know.

The sky started to get dark, and so did the cave. Peridot used her limb enhancers to make a small light source. She then spoke the first thing since we got here.

"Do...Do you think we will be ok here?" She pondered

It took a moment for me to respond, "I... have no idea, but I do know this."

"What?"

"That whatever comes, we will get through it together." We  gazed into each others eyes for a couple seconds until she shook her head.

"Together... What are WE doing together! You are a G/N who shouldn't be even near some stupid cloddy Peridot! What was I thinking bringing you all the way from Earth... Now, the diamonds will probably hunt us down and shatter us both..." She looked down on the cold, hard, rocky ground.

"Peri..."  I started as I wrapped my hand around her shoulder, "You're not stupid. If anything, you are braver and smarter  than anyone I have ever met. You helped me run away so I wouldn't be shattered. You are my hero..."

We gazed in each others eyes and blushed. Suddenly, the booming and the clashing of liquid stopped and light started to peak through. Things suddenly didn't seem as bad anymore...
