She came dashing towards towards us. I had no idea that THE Jasper, the ultimate quartz, was on Earth! She was cool and all, but a little too cocky for my liking, but it under all of that perfection, she is still a gem, a quartz, a Jasper. Chasing after something forever like a dog, until they inevitably are stopped.

My thoughts were cut short, "NO! We will not be... her...again! I c-can't!" Lapis yelled. I have never seen her this angry and terrified in my entire life, and we were friends during the gem war!

"Aww.... Lapis, come on. I know you miss me. It will be different this time! I know, you won't admit it... but I know you enjoyed being malachite again too!"

"N..No! I didn't! Well... Ugh! Even if I did, which I did NOT , I wouldn't ever forgive myself for what I did!... Nor should anyone else..."

"Lapis..." I started, "I forgive you! You were my best friend!"

Lapis, however, did not hear me "Come on! You are a powerful gem! Don't let all that power go to waste!" Jasper pleaded, but still in her powerful tone.

Lapis closed her eyes for a moment. Thinking. Her eyelids lifted and she looked at Jasper directly in the eye. She did not say a word. It was like the world deadliest staring competition, except only one person was competing.

"Lapis... Come on... Be strong like the gem you are! Resist!" I pleaded.

"No. I...need too.... If I don't, she'll just keep coming back, there is only one way to end this, G/N. You have to understand." Lapis stated.

"No! I don't understand! if you would just let us help yo-" I was cut off.

" I'M DOING THIS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" She yelled and then quickly covered her mouth.

Peridot then looked at Lapis and started to cry, but immediately wiped them off and stood up.

"How dare you yell a!-"   Peridot started. Lapis seems to be doing that a lot today.

"This does not concern you, Homeworld trash!" Lapis then put her in a bubble and threw the bubble far away very hard.

"PERIDOT!" I screamed. She had crossed the line! I was not going to stand there while she insults and attack my Peridot. On the other hand, she was my best friend, but still, there was very little doubt in my mind. I needed to knock some sense in to her.

I went to attack her, but she had flown up into the air. "I'm doing this for you." She plainly stated.

She landed on the ground, and reverted her wings back into her gem. She achingly stretched out her hand to Jasper.

This single moment felt like an eternity to me. My mind was racing. Yes, Lapis has always been stubborn, but.... this?

"LAPIS!" I angerly yelled, but I was too late. They had done a little dance and became something monstrous.

"HA HA HA!" They chaotically yelled simultaneously. I could hear both of them in there.

I could tell right off the bat, this was an unstable mess that needed to be stopped, but... I'm just a G/N... There is no way I could stop them. Maybe if I had some help though... No! I won't put her through that! I need to find Peridot!

Sorry for the small hiatus! Anyway, I really hope you liked the chapter! Also, this is an alternate universe where Jasper was never corrupted.
