Helping a friend in need

*Peridot's P.O.V*

I weeped over her limp body. Pleading for help. Only a few seconds later, she retreated back into her gem. It was probably for the best. If she kept going the way she did, she would...

I picked up her gem and stood up. I needed to find help, fast.

So, I ran as fast as I could, her gem in my hands. "Help us! Please!" I screamed. Luckily they all heard me and quickly came over.

"What's wrong?" The small Amethyst asked.

"It's... It's G/N. She's dying..." P-Please help me! Please..." I choked.

"Is this really a good idea?" The Pearl asked the fusion.

"Yes. They, may be from Homeworld, but I couldn't possibly live with myself if I saw two gems that truly love each other strongly, and then watch them suffer forever."The fusion stated. "Here, give me her."

"N-No! I wont let you touch her!" I yelled. I didn't want anyone touching her! Well, except for me...  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The fusion continued, "Fine, then come with me."

I followed them into their base. Did I trust them, no. Not at all, but if I ever wanted G/N back, I would just have to hope for the best. I would do anything for G/N, no matter the cost.

We went on a warp pad to some strange place with a... Rose Quartz statue! The Rose Quartz that shattered Pink Diamond! Or, at least that is what I have heard. I guess this was good, Rose Quartz were good healers, again, that is what I've heard.

"Now," the fusion started, "gently place her in the fountain.

I did as instructed. I really hoped this would work. After waiting for about 30 seconds, I started to cry. It wasn't doing anything!

"YOU CRYSTAL CLODS! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! What are you gonna do now! Shatter me, so I can live out the rest of my life with G/N is heaven!" I was so infuriated that I was actually attacking them . Of course, being an era two gem, I failed. "I'm sorry, G/N..."

I then leaped into the fountain after her gem. "I love you..." I muttered underwater. Suddenly, the giant cracks began to fill. Soon enough, the gem was glowing brightly and hovered in the air.

The light then started to take form and started to turn into a solid mass. She hovered in the air for a few more seconds, and then plopped right back down into the fountain.

"G/N! You're ok!" I cheered!

"P... Peri"
