Will

Nico's hands fidgeted, his right leg bounced, and occasionally he swept his dark hair across his forehead. His paleness was brighter than the moonlight that reflected off the central hearth of Olympus.

Will knew Nico all too well. He knew Nico's anxiety levels were through the roof.
Nothing I can't fix.

Will gently placed a hand on Nico's.
"You need to chill." Will said, his voice almost as soothing as his father's.

"I can't. It's been a week, Will. They should've contacted Chiron by now, or, or-" Nico's ranting caught the attention of a few demigod's sitting on nearby logs. They were all waiting for Chiron to arrive for the nightly smores and sing-a-longs.

"Hush." Will whispered, glancing back at the campers surrounding them. They had lost their interest in Nico's rants and turned back to face the fire pit.

"What if something's happened?" Nico mumbled, but Will shook his head.

"Remember when you went on that three freaking month long quest, before you knew me?" Will asked, hoping to spark something within Nico. But Nico's eyes remained on the ground, avoiding to notice Will.

"Yeah..."

"Well, Percy went months without contacting Chiron. But all of you guys made it out alive. It's only been a week, I'm sure they're fine." Will reassured Nico as much as he could, but it still ached to see Nico so...hurt?

Why is this affecting him so much?

Nico sighed and turned to face the hearth, rubbing his long hair gently.

Will knew Nico hated to talk about how he felt. Nico wasn't expressive, he wasn't happy, he wasn't the best partner.
But to Will, he was everything. And Will knew exactly how to cheer Nico up.

He peered over the crowd and caught the eyes of a tanned girl, with black braided hair and feathers on the end. Her complexion reflected the light from the camp fire.
She sat in the middle of two older guys. The one to her right was hispanic, his hair wildly curly and his ears pointed. The one to her left was lighter skinned, with blonde hair and wore glasses.
Piper, Jason, and Leo.
And next to Leo sat the once-immortal Calypso.

"Hey, Nico. Look." Will pointed toward Nico's old friends.
"The whole gang's here." Nico chuckled, and Will knew he missed them. They had been gone for quite sometime. Leo and Calypso had gone off on another quest, and Piper spent time away with her father and Jason in L.A, near Camp Jupiter.

Will quickly held Nico's hand and led him toward the log his friends were sitting on.

"Nico!" Piper jumped up and squished him into a hug. Will chuckled, knowing how uncomfortable Nico was while being crushed to death.
Death by hug sounds a lot better than most deaths.

"Wassup?" Leo asked, his curly hair bouncing as he patted Nico on the back.

Nico shrugged, his face was unamused.
Before we could take a seat next to our friends, Chiron galloped around the fireplace.
"Tonight's song is, uh, Lean On Me." He announced, and galloped away to try to escape the horrific singing by the campers.

"Lets dip." Leo proposed, rubbing off his sweaty palms before holding Calypso's hand.

"I'm in." Jason stood up from the log.

"Me too." Piper replied, her braided hair falling over her shoulder as she spun to face Jason.

"Me three." Will said, and looked down at Nico. His wide eyes were begging in hopes that he could somehow get out of it.
