Aurora rolled her eyes as her best friend, Katherine, pulled her down the hallway toward their group of friends. Katherine's dark black hair with blue highlights kept blowing into Aurora's face. Aurora laughed, seeing that her best friend hadn't even noticed. But James, Alexis, and Trevor had. They had laughed at the scene before them.
"So, Aurora, do you want to go to the mall with us Saturday?" James asked as they reached the group.
She looked up into his dark blue eyes.
"Sure," Aurora said, smiling.
He smiled back, pushing a hand through his golden locks.
"You flirt, you," Katherine whispered into Aurora's ear.
Aurora turned extremely red at that comment. She didn't mean to flirt. She didn't even know what flirting was.
Trevor and Alexis were teasing each other and totally out of the conversation. They didn't even notice Aurora's blushing.
The bell rang and Aurora waved as her friends walked to their different classes.
Aurora walked down the hallways, which were covered in posters and light blue lockers. She finally made it to classroom 926 and took her seat in the front. The teacher, Mr. Collins, came in, shut the door, and made his usual announcements.
"Today we will be learning about the Trojan War. But first, we have a new student. Come in, Mr. Walker."
Aurora sat, stunned, as the boy from the party walked in.
"Introduce yourself." Mr. Collins insisted.
"I'm Adam," he said with a wave.
"Well take a seat next to Aurora. Aurora, raise your hand."
She did as she was told, and Adam made his way to the empty desk beside her.
The class continued as usual, but Aurora could feel his eyes on her, and that made her feel tingly inside.
When there were 5 minutes left in class, Mr. Collins gave them free time to speak. Adam turned to Aurora.
"Hello." he said with a grin.
"Hi." she said, smiling back.
"So, what class do you have next?"
"English room 567 with Mrs. Tanger."
He smiled. "So do I."
"Can I see your schedule?"
He opened his folder, took it out, and handed it to her.
Aurora gazed at it with wide eyes. She looked back up at him, stunned.
"We have every class together."
"Then you could show me around?"
"Sure," she said, feeling slightly nervous.
The bell rang and Aurora and Adam grabbed their things, and she lead the way to their next class.
