Aurora sighed as she threw her keys on the kitchen counter. The day had been far too stressful. She grabbed some cereal, sat down in her living room, turned on the Hallmark Channel, and pulled out her phone to text Adam.
How was the doctors? -Aurora
The reply was quick.
Not bad..How was school? -Adam
Well..a boy told me dating you was social suicide. -Aurora
He what? -Adam
Of course I don't believe him. You're too wonderful to be known by jerks like him. -Aurora
Are you sure? -Adam
Yes, Adam. I'm very sure. I want to be with you. -Aurora
Let me know if he bothers you. -Adam
Will you beat him up, my wonderful boyfriend? -Aurora
Yes, my beautiful girlfriend. -Adam
She smiled at her phone.
Want to come over and watch Hallmark movies? -Aurora
I would, but I can't. I have to go pick up my prescription. Rain check? -Adam
Oh, alright. But you'll have to watch them with me sometime! -Aurora
I will. Promise. Gotta go now. -Adam
Bye, boyfriend. -Aurora
Aurora spent the rest of the night eating cereal and watching the Hallmark Channel. It was already 11PM when she felt her phone vibrate.
