Aurora stared at the TV in shock.

"Spider-Man?" she questioned, stifling a giggle.

"What? It's awesome!" he insisted.

She laughed.

"Whatever you say."

"Pshh. Girls."

"Pshh. Boys."

He stuck his tongue out at her.

"Just hit play, Adam."

He did as she said, grinning.

About halfway through the movie, Aurora began to fall asleep.

She leaned against Adam and closed her eyes.

He wasn't having any of that.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her onto his lap, making her nearly have a heart attack.

"Geez, Adam! It's just Spiderman! And I'm tired." she whined.

He shook his head.

"You have to watch all of it, or we're no longer friends."

She pouted.

"But-"

"Shhhh. We're missing the movie," he said, placing a hand over his mouth.

She rolled her eyes and licked his hand.

He pulled it away instantly.

"Gross! Geez, Aurora. You didn't have to lick my hand. If you wanted to taste me, all you had to do is ask."

She gave him an 'are you serious right now' look.

And then he bursted into laughter.

"I'm only joking. You should have seen your face!"

She must be tomato red by now, she figured.

"You're a jerk!" she yelled, pushing him off of the couch.

"But, baby! I thought you loved me!" he teased.

"I hate you!"

He laughed more.

"Come on, Aurora. You don't mean that."

She sighed.

"Whatever. Let's just finish the movie."

He grinned evilly and grabbed her arm, pulling her on the floor with him.

"Meanie," she muttered.

"I heard that," he said, grinning.

Aurora looked up at the TV screen and saw credits.

"Oh, look. Movie's over. Now time for sleep."

He rolled his eyes.

"Okay, but first you gotta take me home."

She groaned.

"But, Adam. It's a Friday. Can't you just stay or something?"

He rolled his eyes.

"Fine, let me call my mom."

He took out his iPhone and called her.

"Yeah, mom. So can I stay at Aurora's? She's being lazy and doesn't wanna drive me home."

There was a reply from her that Aurora couldn't hear.

"Okay. Thanks, mom."

He put his phone back into his pocket and nudged Aurora, who appeared to be asleep.

"I can stay," he told her.

"Mmkay," she said sleepily.

He rolled his eyes.

"Just go to bed then."

"'Kay," she replied, smiling and drifting to sleep.
