"Lunchtime!" Jungkook sang as we met outside the History classroom. "Finally!"

"Do they sell food here?"

"Of course! I've never had much of it though, so you're on your own there."

"Do you know if it's any good?"

"I'm pretty sure it's okay... if not then you could just drive to a nearby store and get something."

"I don't have a car..."

"Good point."

"Do you know how much the food costs?"

"I've never even stood in line for it."

"You've got to come with me today though." Jungkook was a little less annoying at this point, still annoying, just a more bearable kind of it.

"Whyyyyy?" He whined.

"I'm scared." I said truthfully. I was sorta scared of facing a Korean person that'd expect me to know more about the culture and stuff....... with the teachers it was just "sonsaeng-nim" but I still wasn't sure what I'd call someone in a conversation, after all Eomma was just Eomma, and she was the only person I spoke Korean with before this.

"The best way to get over it is to go and do it." Looking proud of the statement, he added: "Without me."

"Well, you've been listening to me speak in Korean all day... do you think I can do it?"

"You're fine... more than fine actually." He paused and then winked. "In more than one way."

"If compliments from you were money, I'd be a billionaire already. I don't need them Jungkook." I said the second part on reflex... I didn't want them, and I honestly didn't need any............ so I said that.......... but I kind of enjoyed how clever they were sometimes...... hehe......

"Okay. Your Korean is great though, and it's not that much of a worry either way."

"Who do you normally sit with at lunch?" I asked.

"You've already seen Taehyung and Jimin, they're the two youngest other than me, and then there's Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, and Hoseok."

"Cool, what're they like?"

"You can find out for yourself," he answered as we approached the cafeteria doors. "Good luck, come find me when you're done."

"Will that be easy?"

"Try your best."

I rolled my eyes and laughed a little, then hurried into the room to join the relatively small line for food. I liked this Jungkook better... a lot better.

A few steps into the room, I saw that the exchange student I met in first period would be a few people in front of me in the lunch line.

I tapped his shoulder as I walked by, "Hi Mark!"

He turned around, "Oh hi!"

I went to the end of the line, and then looked back, surprised to see him coming with me. "Why are you..."

"I didn't want to wait alone."
