~ Kaisee ~

That note.................................. I'm a little creeped out.

I was scared before but I'm more scared now.

People notice me enough for that, it doesn't really make me feel safe. I thought you know, I'd fly below the radar most of my time here... but this shows that people know.....

Unless... 'M' is Mark?

Notes seemed like something he'd do, as a quiet person, but the M is too obvious. Maybe he wanted that?

I hate this.

Why couldn't it just be straightforward and simple? Even though that's hypocritical because obviously I haven't been being very straightforward with Mark.

I didn't feel safe here anymore, though that was really just paranoid thinking, actual adults that I trusted were so far away, being alone all the time isn't helping.

Anyways. If it really is him... that's great. But I can't ask him out now, something, like the amusement park thing needs to happen. It's too early now.

I don't know if it'll be before or after the dance, or if I'll have to stage it.

I kept trying to distract my thoughts about the note, like I've been doing the whole day. But there was no distraction now, in detention, except my own thoughts, so it was hard. And I didn't really succeed.

I pulled my bag onto my lap and pretended to shuffle through papers while actually scrolling on my phone.

Okay. Just a few more minutes. At least having something to do would prevent me from thinking about this until the night I was probably going spend sleepless.

I didn't really know people did love notes in real life... it could just be a Korean thing, but I'm not too sure. Either way, I've never seen anyone get a love note, or received one myself, until now.

I was scared. Of course my apartment had security and stuff and most of that sneaking around stuff would be hard. But how else could someone just fall for me... especially when I really only talk to Jungkook, Jin, Jennie, and Mark. I talk to Jin a little bit because he's in my study hall class, and most of the time Mark leaves early and goes to the JYP Building and Jennie has started taking a class during that time.

Fun boy, good friend. I like him.

But still. That note. Everything comes back to it now.

Mark... is probably the main suspect... and I mean, who else would write notes...

I mean out of the other guys I have contact with, Jungkook would be straightforward, not too nervous about this kind of thing too... he's macho, he's confident. And then Jin... just no, we just don't know each other well enough. Other than them, it could be anyone else.

Maybe it's just a prank thing. Then the notes might stop, but I don't really wanna tell anyone about them, not unless I figure out more.

"Kaisee and Jennifer!" The teacher said, "You two are done for today."

I snickered, Jennie hated the name Jennifer, it was funny when teachers called her that, I looked across the room to see her reaction. She smiled forcibly and gritted her teeth together while putting her stuff away. I looked at her and flicked my head towards the door, and she nodded. We left the room together and ran outside.

"When's the next bus?" She panted.

"Can we just take a taxi for now?" I asked.

"We're gonna need to walk a little to find a place where taxis will actually be."

"The bus that comes here will go in the wrong direction."

"Should I call Rosie?"

"That's actually her name?"

"Hell no, I don't think anyone is actually named Rosie other than that girl from Caillou. Her real name is Chaeyoung, but that's a lot of work to say."

"So the name Rosie comes from where....?"

"I don't know. We met in Australia when I was traveling there a few years ago, we were maybe fifteen? She told me to call her Rosé..." Jennie explained, "But that's just her English name. I made it Rosie after because that's cute."

"Cool. Now just a quick question. Where are we walking?"

"We can walk to the mall from here."

"The mall is three miles away."

"Well then we'll walk to the bus station."

"That's more than three miles away." I raised an eyebrow.

"We'll walk to a busier street so that we can actually find a taxi."

"There you go."

But she was already waving her hand maniacally at the yellow car driving down the street. "Taxi!" She yelled.

The driver looked at her weirdly as she pulled up, "Yes?"

"Could you take us to the Starfield Mall?"

"I can. Do you kids have an adult with you?"

"Well, I'm actually a legal adult." I said, "And so is she."

"Really?"

"Yeah...?"

"Wow you look so young for your age!" She said to Jennie, then turned to me, "You look very mature, I just assumed you were younger for some reason!" She exclaimed. "Both of you are such pretty girls! Come on in, I'll take you there fast."

We sat in the backseat of the car and drove away. The lady was very good at making conversation. She never asked anything personal, which was good. We got to the mall very quickly and paid her, with a nice smile she left the parking lot, and we headed inside.

Finally, I can get my mind off of it.
