We really only spent 45 minutes working. The rest was......... interesting, to say the least.
You know..... he had a six-pack... I wanted to have something cool like that too!
So when it came to us just hanging out. He suggested that we have a handstand competition. I did not start it off. But of course I won.
He asked me what other gymnastic stuff I could do.
I wanted to show off.
So I said all confidently, "I'm pretty sure I can nail a backflip in here."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeahhhh, it's not a big deal." I said, while not being entirely sure of it.
"Should we go outside and try it?"
"No it's okay."
But I did forget how much work it took for a clumsy person like me to actually maintain an adequate amount of balance when doing gymnastics... it's a lot of work.
So I ended up needing to take a few steps to the side to regain balance.
Too bad there was no room to the side.
I crashed with all of my body weight into the sharp edge of the ping pong table. The pain erupted on the bottom of my ribcage. "Shit..." I mumbled kneeling down on the floor. I bent my head back and moaned in pain.
Jungkook laughed hysterically for a bit until he realized that I was actually hurt.
"Do you think you can check that out yourself?" He said, with the most awkward tone I've ever heard his voice get to.
"Hell no," I grinded my teeth together.
"Do you— should I look?" He looked nervous.
"Please do." I didn't even care about how weird that was, I rolled up my shirt to the middle of my ribcage. His tenderly pressed around the spot where it hurt.
I shivered a little, his hands were cold. But the pain from his touch shot through my whole body.
This... this could've felt almost....... nice... if I wasn't in severe pain.
I pushed his hand off of me, fingers lingering for a second, then wiped at the tears pooling at the corner of my eyes.
"Bruised rib, I think." He said, pulling his hand back quickly, "Not broken as far as I can tell, nothing protruding or anything."
"Good"
"I'll get ice."
"Don't you think you should, you know, get a couch or something in here?" I asked, pulling my shirt back down.
"I don't think now's the time to worry about my furniture."
"It'd probably be more comfortable for me to sit on a couch."
