Jennie and I both stood in my bedroom. She said her roommate kicked her out for the rest of the day. I feel bad for Jennie, her roommate is trash. She probably just wanted the dorm empty so she can have "fun" with her boyfriend after the dance, which was today in a few hours. I've seen that girl at school, she's been adopted by the popular girls here... Kwon Jihye and the others that I never bothered to learn the names of.
The only thing I really know about Kwon Jihye is that she was hella obsessed with Jungkook, judging from what Jungkook told me on the first day of school. Oh, and that Kwon Jihye is a whole bitch.
Other than that, she's probably just your average popular girl...... the only thing that seems weird about it is that everyone seems to call her by both her first and last names.....
Anyways, I think Mark knows her personally or something, or they're friends.
Jungkook tries to ignore her though, I can tell. It's kind of funny. I saw her fluttering around him yesterday, she was probably looking for a date.
"Kai!" Jennie called, pulling her head out of my closet, "Why do you have this?" She held a shiny little leotard in her hand.
"Memories, my friend, I used to be a gymnast."
"Did you really?"
"Yeah, my mom was sorta concerned that I was too clumsy so she thought it would help me to go and learn, I actually got pretty good. And then I made a very clumsy mistake and quit after that. Eomma still says I wasted my talent."
"Oh, um, yikes."
"My mom is a very nostalgic person. It's understandable, she's been through a lot."
Jennie nodded solemnly, she's really not that good with sad stuff. Dealing with emotions was usually my job in a friendship. But I was the one with all the emotions that I needed to deal with..... Jennie didn't really like that.
Oops....
"Anyways, you think this will look good on me?"
She pulled out a long, flowy wine colored dress with a criss-crossy neckline..... when did I even buy that? Was it Cam's that I borrowed one day and never gave back? Ugh it's been a while since I talked to Cam... I should text them later today. I miss my California peeps.
"Go for it, you look great in anything." I said.
"I dunno, red's not my color... do you have anything black?"
"I'll wear that dress, you can have this one." I grabbed a black dress and gave it to her. "I have some gold earrings you can wear it with too."
"Why do you want the red dress specifically, you'd look better in that sparkly blue one."
"That probably won't fit me.... besides," I lowered my voice, "Mark likes red." I covered my mouth in embarrassment....
Jennie giggled, "Ah! You're so cute when you're shy! Go put on the dress, I'll do your makeup then."
"You put on that dress too." I said, "I'm honestly devastated that you couldn't wear the one you bought for today because of your goddamn roommate."
