About a week had passed and nothing happened. I hadn't seen Peter or heard him or felt him. Maybe it was all really in my head? I had been working on my book nonstop. All my creativity just well, flew. Actually, I was nearly done with it. I was just finishing up editing before I send it do an actual editor. I was just putting the finishing touches to it. I didn't really know how to end it.

Caius was making me something to eat. I haven't really eaten much because my stomach just has been feeling weird. I'm hungry but I am not.  Carlisle had left as things have quieted down. Until now.

I was in bed daydreaming about the ending.; I heard footsteps, "Caius?" I asked and rolled onto my side and saw Peter. He was standing over Lilith's crib.

I have to be dreaming. I sat up and gripped onto the blanket. I hadn't seen him in weeks and all of a sudden, he appears again.

"This isn't real," I whispered wincing my eyes closed.

"Izzy," he chuckled, "Stop trying to convince yourself that I am not real," he said and walked over to me. He sat on the bed. I felt the bed sink.

This has to be real, right?

"If it was real then why haven't you been here all week?" I asked.

He smiled at me, "I have been here," he sighed, "You were so focused on trying to convince yourself that I wasn't real, you haven't let me in," He sighed.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You just have to open your mind," he said and touched my cheek. I felt it. I felt his hand on my cheek. I brought up my hand and placed it over his hand. His hand was right there.

"Prove you are real," I said.

"What do you want me to do? Knock over a lamp? Throw a book?" He had a smile on his face.

"Well, can you?" I said and placed my hand on my hip.

"Your wish is my command," he said and stood up and walked over to the bed side. He reached his hand out and placed it on the back side of the lamp. I held my breath waiting.

His smile became wider as he picked up the lamp, "Ready?" he asked.

I nodded, "Yes," I let out the beath of air.

He waited a moment.

"What are you waiting for?" I asked.

He didn't reply, "This," he smiled.

As footsteps approached, he had a wicked grin on his face. He threw the lamp as the door opened.

"Oh, be nice!" I yelled and hit Peter on the shoulder.

Peter laughed.

"Jesus Christ Izzy," Caius said walking in.

I couldn't help but laugh. All doubt went away. Peter was real

"Believe me yet?" he asked and laughed.

"I do," I whispered and stood heading to the door where all the broken glass was. I then looked at Caius. I heard Peter laugh. He was still here.

"Izzy, why are you throwing things?" Caius sighed tilting his head.

"Well, it wasn't me," I giggled, "It was him," I said and pointed at Peter.

"Are you seeing him again?" he asked.

"Yes," I said not nervous to admit it, "I know you may not see him, but he is real. I swear on my life that I did not throw that at you," I paused.

"Izzy," he moved close to me, "there is no one here," he said turning me around to where I was pointing.

Peter was over there laughing. I heard his laugh, which made me laugh.

"Nanny cam," Peter whispered.

"Yes!" I gasped.

"Izzy?" Caius asked.

"The nanny cam! Look at the nanny cam," I said, "I didn't do it, I promise," I said and turned to face Caius.

He sighed and shook his head, "Izzy, it's not real," he touched my cheek, "You know it's not."

I felt a hand on my back as well, "It's okay that he doesn't believe me. You do and that's all that matters," he whispered.

I nodded and took a deep breath, "I understand that you don't believe me, but it is real. How can I prove it. How can he prove it?" he looked up at him.

"You can't," he sighed, "I am going to call Carlisle again," he said.

I was very frustrated.

Peter rubbed my back, "Breathe Izzy, it's okay. He doesn't have to believe it. You are the only person who matters," he said.

I nodded, "Okay," I whispered and looked at Caius, "Whatever you think is right," I sighed and sat on the bed not wanting to argue with Caius when I know what I am experiencing is true.

Caius came over and kissed the top of my head, "Why don't you eat, and I will be back, okay?"

I nodded and looked down.

When Caius left, Peter walked over to me and sat down next to me, "Why doesn't he believe me?" I asked.

"Sometimes it's hard to believe what you can't see," Peter said.

I nodded and leaned against him, "He won't let me prove it even. What do I do?" I asked.

"I know Izzy," he sighed and wrapped his arm around me.

"How come I can only see you?" I asked, "Why no one else?"

"Sometimes you have to believe in certain things. Sometimes you have to believe in the afterlife. Sometimes you have to believe in to be seen," he said.

"Afterlife? You are really from the afterlife?" I asked.

He nodded.

"So, what are you?" I asked, "I mean... I know you are real... I see you... I hear you... I feel you," I whispered and turned to face him. I brought my hands to his cheek and leaned in, "I feel you," I spoke quietly. I moved in for the kiss. And to confirm, I still felt him. He brought his hands to my side, and he leaned into the kiss, "Peter," I paused and took a deep breath.

"Yes, my love?"

"What are you?" I asked. "I see you and I hear you and I feel your touches. What are you?" I asked.

"You haven't figured out yet?" he smiled and touched my cheek.

"Peter, I don't know what to believe in," I let out a breath of air, "What are you? Why can only I see you?"

"You believe in the afterlife, right?" he asked.

"Afterlife? Of course I do. Ghosts... heaven... stuff like that?" I clarified

He nodded.

Then it came to me, "You're a ghost," I gasped.
