Nikki's POV
The peace i had come to known was all gone. From the time i had stayed here, i had never seen the people here so distraught. Everyone in the pack house were sitting, their eyes glued to the ground.
It was currently the night, which meant that it was Scarlett's and Racheal's turn to watch over the pack. They got the road. They sat behind some trees, as quiet as they could.
I had a perfect few of them, from the children's room which was directly in font of the road on the third floor. Scarlett was hunched, sitting with her legs crossed. Racheal had her back against a tree, her legs outstretched. They were talking, so naturally as if nothing happened.
Laughing a bit every now and then. I envied the relationship they had.
"Scarlett is very pretty" a low voice mumbled.
I turned to it only to see a child, no older than 10 speaking to me.
"Yeah huh" i answered back, turning my gaze to them.
"She had to fight to keep you here. My dad told me that she got into a really bad argument with the Luna, but then she ended up begging her for you to stay here. Thats very embarrassing for a Luna to do" he muttered.
I nodded my head. I didn't know this. Well of course i didn't, I wasn't told about anything here. I wasn't even part of this pack.
Lights lit up the road ahead, causing all of us to tense. I stood up and stared at Scarlett. She was on her feet, her eyes sharp and cat like. Racheal was behind her, ready to shift at any second.
The car soon came into view and the imposters got off the car. As soon at they did, Scarlett pounced on one of them.
Tyler. Tyler opened his arms and hugged her tightly. Oddly enough he was taller than her, by a bit.
I quickly exited the house, running down the stairs. Tyler was talking to Racheal, I'm guessing she was explaining everything to her.
Tyler soon snapped his eyes to me, i thought he would engulf in in a hug like Jay did to Scarlett but he just snapped his eyes away from me and looked over to Scarlett.
"Where's Lui" he asked, his voice low.
Scarlett looked at him and smiled, "Don't worry, he's inside with the other kids."
Tyler nodded his head and looked back at me.
"Are you okay" he asked, walking slowly towards me.
I nodded my head and looked at the floor, "I'm sorry. I lead them here."
"They would have found us anyways" Scarlett muttered.
I nodded my head again and glanced at Tyler, he was looking at the road. His eyes cat like, slightly glowing.
"Well, lets head in" Tom, the Alpha, commented, pushing us all in.
We all walked in, the warmth of the house causing a shiver to go up my spine.
"This is going to be a long night" Scarlett muttered.
"Yeah it will be."
