Tyler's POV

"Jay. Is this really a good idea" Racheal asked looking at Jay with a worried face.

Jay was currently packing some stuff into a duffel bag. They had things here that i didn't even know existed like wolfbane which is apparently poison for wolves.

"Don't you want Scarlett back" Jay asked with a mono tone voice. His face was hard but his eyes gave him away. He was petrified and i knew it. Hell even Racheal knew it.

"I'm going too" i muttered, beginning to pack my duffel bag too.

Jay looked at me and for a second i saw relief but that was soon covered, "I don't think thats a good idea."

"She's my sister. I'm not letting you go alone" I exclaimed with a stern voice.

Jay only nodded and zipped his bag up. He threw it over his shoulder and turned to look at Racheal.

Her face held a small smile and she quickly wrapped her arms around her brother, "Be careful Jay. And come back safely. Please."

Jay hugged her back and smiled, "I will Racheal i will."

I walked away, i didn't want to interrupt their family moment. Plus I needed to see Nikki.

Nikki was laying in her bed, her mouth formed a huge smile once she saw me.

"Tyler hey" she whispered running a hand through her hair.

I smiled lightly and walked in, "Hey Nikki."

She frowned a bit, "What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well you look sorta... lost."

I frowned, "Nikki, i have to go get Scarlett back."

Nikki's eyes teared up but she smiled anyways, "I understand."

I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her neck and pulled her close to me, "I'm going to come back Nikki. I promise."

Nikki nodded her head, "I know Tyler."

I pulled away and we both locked eyes. Her dark brown eyes were glossy, and even with a busted lip and bruised cheek, she still managed to take my breath away.

I kissed her forehead and pulled away.

"I'll see you soon Nikki."

"Bye Tyler."

I walked away, my heart clenching in my chest. It was so heavy.

I walked out to the front, where Jay was waiting for me.

He looked at me, "Tyler, we might not come back."

I nodded my head. I understood this. But Scarlett was my sister and I couldn't leave her in the hands of those rouges.

"TYLER WAIT."

I turned to the voice, only to be slightly startled. It was Lizzy.

"You cant stop me Lizzy" i muttered looking away from her.

She stopped in front of me and engulfed me in a tight hug. "I'm not going to stop you. I just... i want you to be safe Tyler. And bring back Scarlett."

She pulled away from me, her eyes were sad but we both knew why she couldn't come. Lui needed someone to take care of him. He couldn't be left alone in this worlds.

"Tell Lui i love him."

And with that we parted ways.

Jay began to walk forward and I followed close behind him.

"How far is the border" i asked while my grip on the duffel bag tightened.

"Its 6 hours from here. If we shift now we can get there at sun rise" Jay explained.

He jumped into his form and began running, the duffel bag bouncing on his back.

I shifted soon after, trying my best to keep up with him.

It was clear to see that Jay wanted to get there as soon as possible, but winning at this point would be impossible.
