Prolouge

My name is Katie Fullbuster. You've probably heard of my parents and their adventures with one of the most renown guilds, Fairy Tail. Their whole thing with Deloria, Nirvana, Edolas, the Grand Magic Games, blah, blah, blah. Here's the thing, I am sick and tired of going on jobs and having people say, "Hey, aren't you the Fullbuster-Heartfilia kid? Tell your parents hi." "I remember that one time..." "So you joined Fairy Tail cause of your parents? That's sweet. They did..." "It was pretty cool when they..." "Aw. Isn't it sweet that they got married?" No, people! These are my parents we are talking about.

The only thing that made it worse was that my dad mysteriously dissappeared when I was six. On top of all the comments about my parents past adventures, I also get sympathies. These are the most annoying, because Gray Fullbuster is not dead! My mom doesn't believe it either. Neither does Uncle Natsu or Aunt Erza. Everyone else in the guild has feared the worse. Me and Mama still know that Papa is alive, because he would never leave without saying a proper Fairy Tail goodbye.

But let's be honest, this isn't my parents story. You can find that anywhere. This is the story of Katie Fullbuster. A Fairy Tail mage trying to make her way in the world and like most Fairy Tail mages, find parts of my past and come to terms with them. Like finding my Papa.

The other problem with my life is everyone in the guild thinks that me, my kid brother Kyle, Erza's son Simon, and Natsu's daughter Lexi should form a team. They believe that we can "recreate the most powerful team." I keep telling them to take a jump in the lake. I do not want to relive all of my parents adventures. H-E-double toothpicks no! But I'm getting ahead of myself. My story gets interesting on the day we found out Papa was gone.
