It was a pleasant journey with just Simon. Neither of us felt the need for small talk and we traveled in quick, comfortable silence. Simon kept glancing over his shoulder and slowed his pace ever so slightly. He finally reached out a hand and stopped me

"Something's wrong," he whispered. I turned and looked warily.

"Get behind me," I instructed. Simon did and I touched the ground. "Ice make floor." Ice covers where we were once standing. There's a cry and a thud. Simon runs forward to attack whoever it is. I follow, skillfully gliding across the ice.

"Who are you?" Simon asked. He was holding the colar of a guy who looked like Simon.

"I'm Simon. Prince of Edolas." I already wanted to punch this guy. We had been told stories of Edolas from our parents, so I knew he was like Simon, but different as well.

"How did you get here?" I wondered.

"You're searching for Gray Fullbuster, right Katie?" He replied.

"Answer my question darn it! Or you're going to regret it, Prince Spoiled," I threatened. My hands began frosting over as I tried to keep from attacking him.

"My father, King Jellal, sent me."

"How? Tell me or I'm going to send you back in a box with my condolances."

"How else? With magic of course. We found a vast resource that we'd never found before in mines my father issued."

"What do you know of Gray Fullbuster?" I asked.

"He appeared at the guild Fairy Tail seven years ago. My mother, Erza, very nearly killed the poor fool." Simon smirked at me. My fist went flying forward and I felt a satisfying crunch as he toppled backwards. He craddled his jaw and continued smirking at me.

"You're very different from my Katie. She's a sweet and submissive girl." This time, Simon's fist made contact with his face.

"Now, you listen to me you spolied little brat! You keep your ideas of any Katie you know if your world and I'll keep my Katie in my world. I happen to like her just the way she is, thank you very much," Simon hissed. He pulled the Edolas Simon closer. "Are we clear?" Edolas Simon nodded rapidly. "Good. Now you're going to listen to her, understood?" Edolas Simon continued nodded.

"You're going to get us into Edolas and take us to the Fairy Tail guild, or you're going to remain in Earth Land as a cunk of ice," I told him. Edolas Simon glared at me.

"You're very pushy, but I suppose I have no choice. I'll take you." I glared back.

"Good. Let's go." We began walking and Simon dragged his counterpart behind him.

"I am a prince! This is disgraceful!"

"Here you're a little nobody, so shut up," I told him. He quieted, but didn't stop complaining.

"Alright Prince Spoiled, where to?" Simon asked his counterpart. Edolas Simon crossed his arms.

"I won't talk unless you let me walk." Simon picked him up and placed him on his feet. Edolas Simon brushed himself off and led us into a cave. I looked around when the realization hit that this was where Papa disappeared.

"What now?" I asked.

"Follow me," Edolas Simon ordered. I reluctantly trudged after him. Simon grabbed my wrist.

"I don't trust him, Kk. Are you sure about this?" Simon looked deep into my eyes. I looked back into his grey ones.

"I don't trust him either, but it's a step we can't make alone. I never asked for your help before, but now I am. Will you form a team with me Simon?" I held out my hand. Simon smiled and took it.

"Never thought you'd form a team with me. Team Frozen Iron?" Simon suggested.

"No. Team Beastly Mages," I answered. Simon nodded.

"If you're done we need to go," Edolas Simon called.

"We're coming," I called storming after him. Simon followed me as we wound deeper into the cave. We followed the same path as my dream until we entered the room of crystals. I stood I amazement of it all. It was more beautiful than my dream. Even Simon stood in amazement.

"Keep moving. We're almost there," Edolas Simon said with a scowl.

"You should enjoy this. It's not everyday you see the beauties of nature," I retorted.

"The beauties of nature are not my concern. And it shouldn't be your concern either if you want to find Gray Fullbuster." I glared at the prince and followed him. We stepped into pitch darkness and Simon grabbed my hand. Edolas Simon grabbed my other hand. I was tempted to freeze it, but didn't.

The tunnel went on forever before we stepped into the light. It was just as Mama had described. There were a few floating islands. So magic really had returned. Edolas Simon still held my hand. I froze it and he let go quickly.

"This way to Fairy Tail. Then I can go home," Edolas Simon grumbled. We followed after until we came to a building made of vines. The guild mark was on hanging on a flag outside. "You'll need these. I'm going to leave now. If my Katie asks, tell her to meet me at the castle." We were handing purple pill type things and Edolas Simon stormed away. Me and Simon popped them into our mouths, before just standing in front of the guild.

"Go on Kk. This is what you've been waiting for," Simon prompted. I took a deep breath and lifted a hand to open the door. My other hand still held Simon's tightly. The door swung open and I was engulfed in a hug. Startled, I released Simon's hand.

"You're back!" a voice that sounded a lot like Papa's exclaimed in my ear. I knew this wasn't my papa though. The hug was too warm and he wore way to many coats. I gently pushed him off and got a good look at Gray Surge. He looked me over as well and a look of understanding crossed his face.

"I'm Katie Fullbuster. I'm looking for my Papa, Gray," I said. Gray Surge nodded.

"Come on in." He gestured with his hand, before turning and leading us in. Simon grabbed my hand again as we walked inside. I easily spotted all of the counterparts from our guild. They all looked and acted differently, and there was no Lisanna. I managed to find Lexi with Natsu though. I wondered about how that was possible, until I saw him. He was sitting in a corner, watching the guild with a small smile on his lips. His shirt was gone, as I remembered him, and I quickly noticed his blue Fairy Tail mark.

"Oi, Gray! I thought you said Katie was back!" Lucy Ashley called from her perch on a table.

"Turns out, she's Fullbuster's," Gray Surge told her. Lucy Ashley looked me over and smiled.

"Fullbuster! Someone's here for you!" Lucy Ashley yelled. Papa looked over and I saw his face freeze in shock. He stood up and walked towards me. I couldn't hold it back anymore and ran towards him, determined to hug him before this dream ended. My arms wrapped around the cool body of my papa and he hugged me back. I buried my face in his chest and began crying. He hesitantly lifted his hand and stroked my hair.

"Shh. Shh. It's alright Kk. It's not a dream. I'm here. I love you," Papa whispered to me.
