Chapter 6

Cat's POV:

Pain.

Pain is the thing that makes you feel that you're still alive when all you want is to get away from this cruel thing called life.

That's all I felt when I woke up pain. I never did anything bad in my life to deserve this. Why?! why would this happen to me.

All I wanted in life was to achieve my dreams.

I wanted to get into my dream university after I graduate school, meet someone who loves me deeply and then we get married, have kids and live a happily ever after.

I wasn't expecting something like this to happen to me.

I was now laying naked in pain on the floor of the room that I lost nearly everything in. I still never knew why did they do this to me.

I heard the door of the room open and one of the men that did it to me entered. He came to me and carried me out of the room.

I didn't bother fighting him because I was in so much pain to think about anything else and also because he could hurt me more if I fought him.

I heard another door opening and when I looked around I saw that he brought me back to the cell I was in at first.

He threw me harshly on the floor and I screamed in pain and he just laughed and got out.

I tried getting up but once I moved, my body screamed in pain.

I felt tears streaming down my face and I couldn't stop the sobs from escaping my mouth.

I just couldn't take that much pain. I wanted to die so much right now then I won't feel this pain.

Xavier's POV:

It's been 3 hours or something like that since they took her from here. I wonder what is happening to her right now.

I swear if they dare lay a finger on her I'll fucking torture them till they start begging me to kill them.

The door to the cell opened and in came one of Brad's men holding a naked Cat with blood all over her body and he threw her harshly on the ground.

She screamed in pain and then she started crying when the man left.

They tortured her! The dared laying a finger on her! They asked for their death and it will come to them. I swear to god I'll-

I got cut out of my thoughts when I heard her high pitched scream full with pain when she tried to move.

"Kitten come here" I said wanting to hold her and comfort her wanting to make all the pain go away.

She raised her head looking at me with pain in her eyes and she started crying even more.

She tried getting up wimpering in pain. When she succeeded in getting up on her hands and knees she started crawling towards me.

She came in front of me looking in my eyes as if asking me to hold her and make her feel better and take all the pain away.

And I did. I held her in my arms protectively trying to comfort her without touching her wounds.

I didn't keep my promise. I couldn't protect her from them.

But from now on I promise that I'll protect her with my life.

Yes I don't know anything about her except her name and I only knew her for a few hours but I felt that I should protect her from any danger coming her way.

I feel like she need me in her life as much as I feel I need her in my life, in my arms protecting her and caring for her giving her whatever she asks for.

She will be mine and I'll be hers. She will be my innocent kitty.

When she stopped crying I decided to ask her what happened with her.

"Are you okay? Are you still in pain?" I asked.

"No I'm not okay. I feel like I just wanna die. I don't wanna feel any pain" She said with tears streaming down her face.

"Shh.. don't say that. I promise you I won't let them take you again. I won't let them hurt you again. I'll get you out of here just wait" I said meaning every single word.

I felt her moving to lay her head on my lap but she started wimpering when she stopped wimpering I asked her.

"Where does it hurt the most?" I said.

She reached her hands down, my breath hitched in my throat.

Thoughts started coming to my mind especially this one thought. Could they have done it to her. I swear if it was what I thought!!

"Did they..?" I asked without continuing the sentence. I know that she will understand. I hope she doesn't say yes.

She nodded her head then she started crying again.

All I felt was anger. Anger towards the people that dared hurt my kitten. I'll make them pay. They will see hell before they even die.

"I swear my kitten I'll make them pay for what they did. I'll make them beg me to kill them. I'll make them see hell and know how it feels" I said kissing her forhead.

I felt her hugging my torso in a tight hug as if telling me silently that she believes me and trusts me.

I promise you my kitten. I promise they'll pay.
