Me and Brianna stayed in her and Alex's room all day. We kept talking and getting to know each other.
She really is a fun person to talk too and I can tell that we're gonna go along very well.
It was now time for lunch. We went to the kitchen and just as breakfast time, people were scattered all around the kitchen.
I looked around hoping to find Xavier between the sea of people but I didn't see him anywhere.
He might be in his office... I got out of the kitchen and tried to memorise the way to his office.
"Found it!" I said in a quite voice to myself.
I was about to knock when I heard Xavier shouting. I put my ear against the door trying to catch whatever he's saying.
"He knows where we are Alex! He's threatening to come and take her from me! I can't let that happen, I can't lose someone else Alex! My sister is already dead and mom blames me for her death. I lost them both, I can't lose her too. It's the first time I ever care about someone other than family" I heard him saying.
My heart broke into pieces when I heard what he said. It was clear from his voice that he's on the verge of tears.
He was talking about me. From what he said, I understood that Brad threatened to take me from him.
I should feel scared for myself now, but I only felt scared for Xavier. I can't put him through the fear that he might lose me too.
I need to start training from tomorrow morning. To be able to defend myself and to become and official member of the gang. And by that I'll be able to take revenge from Brad.
Not just revenge for what he did to me but revenge for what he did to Xavier's sister and what he put Xavier through.
I don't have anyone in my life that I care about except for Xavier. He's the air I breath and I can't live without him.
Maybe we don't know each other except for a month.
But this month we've become so close to each other. And I already love him like I've known him for years. He's my first priority now and I can't lose him.
I knocked on the office door and entered when he said come in.
I looked around his office, and it was just like the rest of the house, modern furniture.

"Lunch is ready, come on let's go" I said.
"Okay, come on Alex" He said standing up from behind his desk and coming towards me.
Alex passed by me and went out. I was gonna follow him but Xavier stopped me.
"What?" I asked.
He pulled me close to him, took my face between his hands and leaned down to kiss me. I kissed him back and then he pulled away.
"What was that for?" I asked looking at him.
"Nothing, I just missed you" He said giving me a weak smile.
I smiled back at him and peaked him on the lips "I missed you too" I said and then took his hand in mine and went straight to where the kitchen is.
He said he kissed me because he missed me, but I know he did it because he wanted to assure himself that I'm by his side and not leaving him, because he was too afraid he would lose me just like he lost his sister.
But I will not let that happen. No one would be able to separate us no matter what. I won't allow that to happen. ________________________________________________________
