Xavier's POV:
I woke up the next day feeling like I've had the best sleep in days because I slept with my kitten in between my arms.
She had her head resting on my chest and her hands around me. She looked so beautiful and peaceful sleeping like that.
I couldn't really understand how someone could hurt such an innocent and beautiful person like her. She was so sweet, innocent, kind and caring. She really is an angel that I would do anything to protect her.
I slowly got up careful not to wake her up because she was probably very tired because of yesterday's events. I kissed her on the forehead and then kissed her stomach and then went to get ready for the day.
Apart from running the gang, I have a company to run also. It's one of the most known companies world wide. I get a lot of money from both sources, but I couldn't just be a gang leader because people will be suspicious about the amount of money I have if I didn't work. Me and Alex built this company from scratch but it's mainly Alex who takes care of all the company stuff because I have so much to deal with in the gang.
Today me and Alex were supposed to meet a business friend of ours to discuss some business related to the company but we cancelled it and rescheduled it for another day because of the events that took place yesterday.
I went to my office and Alex was already there waiting for me "Good morning Alex" I said then went to sit behind my desk.
"Good morning Xavier"
"So Alex, I showed you the letter of that motherfucker and it's pretty clear that someone is spying for him. Someone from our gang is giving him information about us. I want you to know who that fucker is" I said.
"I already started searching to know who he is. When I know who he is, I'll let him pay" he said.
"No, you don't get to let him pay first. You bring him to me so I can have a little fun with him first and then you could do whatever you want with him. He dared to give information about us and about my love to that motherfucker so he needs to pay hard" I said
"Anyways, I need you to double the guards that watch Cat and wherever she goes tell Brianna to go with her. I don't want her to be alone at any time. The fall she fell yesterday could have caused miscarriage if you weren't there to catch her in time. I really am thankful for you and Cat also is thankful for you. I don't want to imagine what could have happened if she fell down the stairs." I said giving him a samll smile
"No need to thank me bro, she's my sister." He said smiling back at me.
"About the letter, it's pretty clear that he's threatening to hurt her and the babies and I can't let something like that happen. We need to know where he's hiding so we can attack. We can't wait much longer. We need to find out who is the spy so he can lead us to him. And we need to find him fast. We don't have much time left. He's been quite for a very long time and out of nowhere he sends a threat letter, so that means he's been planning something big and we can't let him have what he wants" I said.
The meeting went by, and we kept discussing some other gang stuff. When we finished Alex left so he can go and continue searching for the spy and I was left alone with my thoughts.
Me and Cat haven't got out with each other for so long. I need to take her sometime on a date and it has to be perfect because she deserves everything to be perfect for her.
I decided I'll take her on the date after a few days because she still needa to rest in bed so nothing bad could happen to her or the baby.
I'll have Brianna go to the mall and get her a dress that could fit her well because she keeps complaining about the dresses not fitting her like before because of her stomach.
She's so small and cute compared to me. And her being pregnant makes her even more cuter. When I hug her it feels like I'm hugging a child in my arms which makes me feel very protective of her.
I tried doing some work but I can't stop thinking about my kitten so I left the office and decided to spend the rest of the day with her.
