Chapter 24

Cat's POV:

I woke up to an empty bed, recalling the events of last night, I felt shy and I was kinda glad that Xavier wasn't here to witness it.

I looked at the clock and it read 1 pm. No wonder Xavier isn't here, it was already afternoon.

I noticed a small paper beside the clock on the bed side. I grabbed it reading it.

Good morning beautiful,

I wanted to be there when you wake up but you know duty calls.

When you wake up, go to the kitchen and you'll find breakfast ready there for you.

Btw, last night was amazing ;)

If you need me I'll be in my office.

I smiled with a blush forming on my cheeks from what he said. I decided to get up and have a shower first then I can go and have breakfast.

When I was done with my shower, I went downstairs to the kitchen and Bri was there having breakfast also. I guess she just woke up too.

"Good morning sleepy head" she said.

"Good morning Bri" I said with a cheerful voice while taking a sip from my orange juice.

"Had fun last night" she said.

"Yeah, we had a great dinner" I said trying to hide the truth about last night.

"I don't mean that kind of fun, I mean the kind of fun that made us not able to sleep last night" she said smirking at me.

"Omg! Were we that loud?" I asked shocked that now everybody here in this house knows what we did.

She immediately started laughing her ass out "omg! your face, hahaha you should see how you look right now" she said in between laughs.

I looked at her confused why was she laughing, she noticed and explained herself.

"You definitely proved my guess" she said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Darling, nobody heard anything last night. I was just messing with you to see if you did the nasty and it turned out like I guessed. So tell me how was it? Was he big? Did you like it? Of course you did why am I even asking th-" I cut her off feeling embarrassed.

"God! I hate you! You fooled me! I wish the universe could swallow me right now" I said knowing so well that I look like a tomato right now.

"Awww, I know you love me. I was just teasing you. Don't be embarrassed, it was bound to happen anyways. But seriously, tell me how was it?"she asked eager to know how it was.

"It was good" I said while bitting my lips feeling myself blush even more.

"Aww look at you blushing!"she said pinching my cheek.

"Stoooopp" I said shoving her hand away. She just laughed at me and continued her breakfast.

Once I finished breakfast I decided to go see Xavier and take him lunch since it was already 2pm.

I knocked on the door hearing a quite 'come in'. I went inside he didn't look up because he was so concentrated on his work.

I went beside and put the food infront of him. He immediately raised his head when he noticed it was me.

"Oh, sorry beautiful. I didn't realise it was you" he siad pulling me by my waist to sit on lap.

"It's okay. I brought you lunch since you didn't come downstairs to eat" I said.

"I would rather have something else to eat right now" he said looking at my lips while bitting his.

I bit my lip in response out of nervousness and of course it didn't go unnoticed by him. He immediately crashed his lips to mine in a kiss full of hunger.

I kissed him for a few seconds then pulled away. He groaned in protest but I ignored him and got off his lap.

"You need to eat. I'm gonna go out shopping with Bri, okay?" I said.

"Okay, take care of yourselves" he said while pulling out his credit card to give it to me.

"No need for that, I still have a few cash left from last time" I said giving it back to him.

"No, take it. This credit card will be for you. You can buy whatever you want and no protesting" he said sternly leaving no room for arguing.

I accepted it from him although I didn't want too. I gave him a quick peck on the lips and thanked him then I left the office to go and find Bri.

Three hours latter and we were exhausted from all the shopping we did and we decided to go eat something at the food court.

While we were making our way to the food court, suddenly something bumped into me.

I looked down at me legs and saw a little boy on the ground and he looked like he was about to cry.

I quickly kneeld down beside him, throwing the bags on the ground and picked him "omg! I'm sorry buddy. Are you okay sweetheart" I said while wipping away the tears that were falling down his cheeks.

"Yes" he muttered quietly while sniffing. I then heard a woman shouting the name harry. I looked at the direction of the sound and saw a petite woman running towards us.

"I'm so sorry he bumped into you. He just likes roaming and running around on his own" the woman said taking the small boy from my arms.

I smiled at her "it's okay ma'am. It's not that big of a deal. Besides he's a very cute and handsome little boy. Aren't you little one?" I said while pinching his cheeks.

He hid behind his mothers legs, looking at me from under his lashes. Me and the mother laughed at this.  "Sorry, he's just shy around people" she said.

"It's okay. I was nice meeting you and meeting this little prince" I said smiling at her widley.

She smiled back at me and waved. I also waved at her then picked up my bags and walked away with Bri by my side.

"Awwww, aren't you just the best. You looked so adorable when you were dealing with that kid. You will be a great mother one day Cat. Speaking of.. when are you and Xavier planning on making us a mini you and a mini him" she said winking at me.

"What are you saying Bri? We are not even married to think about kids and besides, we're still young for that" I said sternly to try and hide my embarrassment.

"Geez! I was just joking with you. Don't take it that seriously" she said.

I sighed in response, then when we reached the food court we sat down on one of the tables and ordered food.

When we finished eating, we decided to head back home because it was already late and Xavier phone me asking why are we late like that. So we went back home.

On our way back home, I couldn't stop thinking about what Bri said. Will I really be a good mother? Does Xavier love me enough to want to marry me and have kids with me?
