Chapter 16

Cat's POV:

To say I was surprised and shocked of what Xavier said, it would be an understatement.

I was beyond shocked. But when he said that I felt something I've never felt before.

I felt like my heart fluttered with happiness and it started beating so fast that I felt like my heart was gonna explode.

I won't deny that I felt attracted to Xavier. I'm not attracted to him in an inappropriate way no but more in a romantic way.

I've never had a boyfriend before and I never liked a boy either. So this all feels new to me.

I feel like I like him so much but I'm afraid this isn't liking. I don't know how to know if you like someone.

Anyways, back to the situation in hand. It's been like 45 minutes since we took the pills and I started feeling the effect of it on my body.

I felt dizzy and an uneasy feeling. So that means just any moment from now, I'll be unconscious.

I still can't brush the feeling that something bad might happen to us and I won't feel good except when we get out of here.

I suddenly heard groaning, when I looked to my side I saw that Xavier was about to pass out. And just as he started groaning he lost conscious.

I layed him on the floor with so much effort because of how big his form is.

After a few moments I felt like I too will lose conscious any moment now. And just as the thought came to me darkness consumed me.

Brad's POV:

I was sitting in my office looking over some gang stuff when a knock was heard.

I shouted a 'come in' and in came one of my gang members. He was one of the boys who guard the doors of the dungeon.

"What's the problem?" I asked looking at him with a hard look on my face.

"Boss, we found Xavier Knight and the girl with him in the cell passed out and they aren't sleeping because we tried waking them up but they won't wake up. Should we get Scott to check up on them?" He said.

What? They are passed out? How did that happen?

"Yes, get Scott to check on them. I'll be down in a minute" I said.

The boy nodded and then left. That's so strange, how did this happen so suddenly and the both of them at the same time.

I went down to the dungeon and then headed to the way their cell is.

I saw Scott checking them and then he stood up.

"What's the matter Scott? Why are they passed out?" I asked confused.

"Boss, they passed out because they got food poisoned" He said.

"Poisoned? What the fuck are you saying? And how did this happen?" I asked shocked.

"It seems like someone wants them dead. But lucky them they are still alive now. I should take them to the clinic upstairs to do some things to get the poison out of their system before it spreads in all their bodies. They will die if this happened" He said.

"Take them now. I want them to live! I don't want them dead" I said.

It's not like I cared about them. But Xavier can't die that easily, I still have torture ways that I haven't used on him yet. And he should die begging me to kill him not die with this easy way.

And for Cat, I still haven't got all what I want from her. And I'm not planning on killing her. I want her all for myself. It's the first time I feel interested twoards somebody like that.

When I tortured, raped her and made my men have their way with her. I honestly regretted doing so.

Because she consumed all my thoughts. I've never regretted anything I've done before.

I hate to admit it but this girl made me regret even thinking about laying a finger on her.

I don't know why I feel like that, but she's so fucking captivating. I don't want her to die.
