"Lunch will consist of forming alliances. If the careers ask you to sit with them, do it, talk to them. Use me, the last name, get people to work with you. It's ok to use me." Finnick said grabbing my hand before I stepped into the elevator. "This is the last chance to get allies. District Two likes you already, finalize it."

"I don't want to use you. That's bragging and I'll just get myself killed or their expect me to be just like you. You won Finnick, if I act like you they'll kill me before I even get any chance."

He pulled me into a tight hug and rubbed my back. It is true Cato and Clove like me and want to work with me. Glimmer hates me, because Cato doesn't pay any attention to her. Not sure why he does it to me.

I really impressed them with my ax and did not have to woo anyone with my fishing ability.

"Just use your ax during the private session. You'll get a high score with that." Finnick said letting me go.

I sat at a table with the careers and we talked about strategies. The table consisted of both tributes, from one and two and me. Cato sat next to me and had his arm around the my the back of my chair. Glimmer sat across from me glaring. She wasn't the only one. Hector sat on the other side of the room glaring.

The careers hadn't ask him to join, just me. He also glared at me on the elevator ride and most of training.

I sat staring at my plate thinking about my private session. The time for everyone to see that I'm not Finnick. I don't know how that will be used to help or be against me.

"District One, Marvel." A voice announced.

The private sessions have begun. I put my hands under my thighs so Cato wouldn't noticed that they were shaking.

"District One, Glimmer."

I got one last glare from her and then she left the room. Four more to go then it's my turn. 'Use your ax. You'll get a good score.' Finnick's words repeated themselves inside my head.

"Hey, your going to do fine. Use your ax, like you did the first day. All the Gamemakers were watching you. I'll do the same with my sword. We'll both get good scores. Trust me." Cato said putting his arm around my shoulders.

"District Two, Cato."

He gave my shoulder a squeeze and stood up. He smiled down at me and I returned it and grabbed his wrist.

"Good luck." I said.

He smiled and walked away. I sat with Clove and we talked till she was called. Two more people then it's my turn.

I began to fix my hair to get my hands to stop shaking. This always helped to get my mind off things. I always liked people touching my hair. This also helps calm Annie down when Finnick isn't around to talk to her.

"District Four, Brook."

I walked into the gym and the Gamemakers  ceased their talking and watched me cross the room to the axes.

They began to whisper. Probably thought I would pick up a trident. For some reason that made me mad and I picked the biggest ax up and turned to them.

"You may began Miss Odair."

I turned to a dummy about thirty feet away and threw that ax. It flipped through the air and decapitated the dummy. The head bounced across the floor and thumped into the wall.

I never did that in training or any other time. Didn't know I had that much power. I through a couple more axes and split open the boxing sand bag that hung on the other side of the gym.

"Thank you, Miss. Odair. You are dismissed."

I sat on the couch in front of the TV to see what score I got in training. Hector sat glaring at me as Finnick sat next to me. He looked so tired.

"Are you ok?" I asked nudging him in the side.

"I'm fine." He said and gave me a smile.

He was lying to me. He's not a very good liar. Well, I can tell when he is lying. I can see it in his eyes. President Snow must still be making him sleep with the Capitol people.

I grabbed his hand as the program started and Annie sat next to me. He doesn't know that I know what the President makes him do. I gave his hand a little squeezed as Glimmer appeared on the screen.

She got a nine and Marvel at ten. Both Cato and Clove got tens. Hector got a six and I got a ten. Annie gave me a hug and Finnick squeezed my hand.

Hector left the room glaring at me. The program continued and the boy from eleven got a ten. Then it was District 12 the boy got a eight and the girl an eleven.

How? What would she have possibly shown them that got her that high of a score? I never seen a score that high.

"Go to bed Annie and I will help you work on your interview. We will talk more in the morning. Good job today." Finnick said giving me a hug and kissed on my forehead.
