"How does your shoulder feel?" He asked.
"It's fine. A little sore, but enough that I can handle it."
I plunged my face into the pond to clean the soot off my face and then I cleaned my hands off and noticed the burn on the back of my left hand. I don't know when I got that. Once done I filled up the water bottles and looked back at Cato. He had his shirt pulled up and I could see his six pack abs and the burns that ran parallel cross his chest.
"Cato! You didn't tell me you were hurt. You need to clean them. Lay down!" I said walking over to him.
He tried to wave me away but I slapped his hands away. I told him to take his coat and shirt off and lay down. Finnick burned himself trying to cook and Mags had poured water on the burn to sooth it. She used medicine to, but I don't have that with me.
I used the water bottles to clean the wound. He would hiss when the water struck his wounds but tried to hide it. He had balled his jacket up and was using it as a pillow.
Once down with cleaning I washed his shirt to let the wounds dry. Then I covered it with bandages to keep out infection. Once his shirt was dried I stood and handed it to him.
"Get dressed. We-"
He grabbed my arm and pulled me down onto himself. I straddled his waist and I grabbed his legs so I wouldn't fall forwards onto his chest. I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks.
"Cato, your wounds." I said as he tried to pull me to his chest.
He huffed then sat up. I slid off his waist and sat on the rock in between his legs. My arms went instinctively to his shoulders and his arms went around me. He crashed his lips to mine and his hands move up to my face and then to my hair.
My fingers went to his hair and he smirked. His left hand moved to my chin and he tilted my head back and his lips moved to my neck. He moved up to behind my ear and I gasped. Cato began to laugh and my face became redder.
"S-sorry. I-"
"It's fine. Don't worry. It was a sexy sound." He said and laughed again.
He pecked my lips then attached them back to my neck just behind my ear. His hands began to roam my body. He got to my waist and up under my shirt. I moaned and tighten my fingers in his hair.
His hands felt like fire as they ran up my sides. His lips moved down my neck giving little kisses and stopped at my collar bone.
"Cato! Brook!" Marvel yelled.
I jumped away from Cato and pulled my shirt down. I stood as Cato pulled his shirt on and Marvel walked from behind a tree. I picked up the backpack and my trident. I left my coat and ax at the bottom of the tree.
Marvel stopped next to me and grabbed his backpack. I took the rest back to the tree as Cato and Marvel talked.
I hoped he didn't see us kissing. We shouldn't even be kissing. Cato and I both can't win. There is only one winner.

The anthem had just ended. No deaths today. Hopefully the Capitol people will be satisfied with the huge fire. I just wanted to sleep. I could barely keep my eyes opened.
I stared at the fire, not sitting very close due today's events. I never again want to be close to a fire.
I pulled my hood up and used my backpack as a pillow. Wasn't very comfortable my it'll due. It was cold so I curled into a ball as the rest began to sleep. Clove was on watch first then Glimmer.
I was half asleep when an arm snaked its way around my waist. A body pressed into my back and lips touched my cheek.
"Goodnight." Cato whispered in my ear.
He pulled me backwards off the backpack and onto his chest. I moved my head to his shoulder and he wrapped his arms around me.
~~~~~
I woke to Glimmer's screams and Marvel yelling. I was pulled up off the ground before I even opened my eyes. I felt a sting on my cheek and opened my eyes to chaos.
"Tracker Jackers, to the lake!" Marvel shouted and Cato pulled me into the woods.
