(Lexi's POV)

Several phone calls and sober bar trips later, I was preparing myself for my date with Liam, my superman. The same man that potentially rescued me from the bar roughly a month ago.

I have had countless conversations with Liam, no problem at all, so I really shouldn't been this nervous for our date. Regardless of the nerves I shouldn't have, I still have them.

It's a Wednesday night because it's the day he said worked best for his work schedule. Since I'm in charge of my own work schedule, I agreed with no problem.

My only problem is I cannot seem to find an outfit suitable for our date if my life depended on it.

"Sam!" I yelled.

She has to be of some help at the very least.

"You can't wear that, Lex." She declined the second she walked into my bedroom.

I turned to stare at myself in the full length mirror again - I was in my tight maroon colored dress that went mid-thigh.

"What's wrong with this?" I groaned.

It's cute!

"He said casual."

"It is." I argued, despite knowing this dress is definitely not casual. Sam deadpanned. I heaved out a dramatic sigh and sauntered over to my walk in closet again with Sam hot on my heels.

"Then what?" I asked as I threw my hands up in exasperation. She rolled her eyes at my overdramatic attitude and started skimming through my closet.

She began grabbing clothing items and accessories; given my level of stress, I didn't question her or argue at all.

"Here," she gestured toward the outfit she had put together on my bed.

A pair of skinny jeans, an army green button up blouse, and a pair of brown leather boots that I didn't even know I owned.

"Not bad." I commented.

Being related to Brooklyn and I, it'd be impossible for Sam to not have some sense of style, she just chooses not to use her super power of style.

"Go put it on." She insisted. I did as instructed by my sister and was actually pleased with my reflection.

My excessively wavy hair was left untouched to keep from messing it up. It typically dries perfectly, making it so I rarely have to actually do something with it.

"You look great, Lexi." Sam commented as I came down the stairs reluctantly.

Liam is due to be here any minute.
He'd texted me about 20 minutes ago to inform me he was on his way.

"When is Alex coming over?" I asked, referring to the soccer coach she has been seeing lately.

They seem to be hitting it off if you ask me!
