(Lexi's POV)
As much as I love spending time with Liam, I definitely need girl time every so often. Just like he probably needs guy time.
Today, I had plans to hangout and catch up with my sisters and sister-in-laws, seeing as they are in town for our weekly Sunday night dinner.
I told Liam he could come to that if he wanted, but he said he was going to catch up on his hours at work. I wholeheartedly respected his decision because he has been taking a lot of time off already to spend time with me. He has bills to pay and stuff, I can't always distract him from his work.
"What's the game plan?" Sam asked Brooklyn over the phone. She was sitting on my bed as I stood in the center of my closet, debating what to wear today.
The same thing I do every morning.
"How's this?" I called over to Sam gesturing to an army green dress that I held on a hanger in my hands.
"We're getting mani-pedis, no tights." I groaned and hung the dress back up in my closet.
As many clothes as I do have, I feel like I never have anything to wear.
I ended up going with a greenish-grayish quarter sleeve v-neck top, dark wash jeans, and paired with tan boots. I vaguely recall purchasing this top months ago, but this is the first time I'm actually wearing it, for I had only just taken the tag off.
"This good?" I modeled off my choice outfit to Sam. She said a quick goodbye to Brooklyn on the phone and flashed me a thumbs up.
"Perfect. Now come help me?" I followed Sam to her bedroom and into her closet that had roughly the same amount of clothing as me, but her's mostly consisted of soccer t-shirts. Sam could very well open up her own soccer t-shirt store.
We focused away from the side of her closet with the soccer tees, and in on her cuter tops instead.
With a lot of debating, I convinced Sam to wear a magenta top that I'm pretty sure belonged to me at one point in time, black leggings, and black wedges. She added in a scarf, which pulled the outfit altogether.
"So what's the plan for today?" I asked as we trudged down the stairs side by side.
"Mani-pedis, then the mall, then dinner," Sam explained. "I'm overruled by fashion fanatics."
"They're not all fashion fanatics, you just so happen to be a tomboy," I teased.
Sam rolled her eyes playfully. "Brooke said Sophie is helping her pick out maternity clothes."
My eyes went wide with excitement. "Oh my gosh! That's exciting. I hope she has twins."
Sam rolled her eyes again, but this time it wasn't playfully. "We have no twins in our family and neither does Nick. Pretty sure twins is impossible." I frowned.
