Chapter 17

                      Summer's  POV

     "Well, let's start off easy." I tell Freddy, he nods and stands up. I follow suit and then turn the other way.

      "Can you face me Summer?" He asks, and I gulp. I turn back around and clasp my hands together.

       "When did you meet Meagan?" I ask him, hoping I'll be wrong about him.

        "The first day of grade six." Her tells me, smiling at the memory. "She was sitting by herself so I went to join her. She called me ugly, but boy was she wrong. By the end of the year almost every girl told me she was in love with me." I giggle, then frown.

        "Did Meagan like you?" I ask, curious. He nods his head.

        "She did like me. And I liked her, we dated for half of grade seven and all through grade eight. Then I broke up with her because she said that I was cheating on her, and wouldn't let it drop. She says she got over it, and I believe her, she even has a boyfriend." I choke on my spit, they were a thing. My eyes must have shown my panic because Freddy pulled me into his arms.

       "Freddy, do you still have a thing for her?" I ask, fiddling with his shirt.

       "No, were best friends." Freddy tells me, hugging after words.

        "Why didn't you just tell me that then?" I scream in his ear.

         "Because I thought you might get jealous because she's my best friend." He cries, putting his nose in my neck.

         "Well, Freddy, I'm not jealous, because we're more than best friends, we're boyfriend and girlfriend. Nothing can beat that." I lecture him, playing with his hair.

          "Okay, first stop playing with the hair. And second," he doesn't finish, instead he connects our lips together. And I sigh, I'm still getting used to his heavenly lips.

        "Summer? Freddy?" Someone gasps. I break away, and look around Freddy's turned head.

        "Meagan?" Freddy sounds surprised. "What are you doing in here so late after school?"
