Summer's POV
"I hate you!" I scream as I run home. Freddy broke my heart, and I bet he doesn't even care. He probably just wanted me to make Meagan jealous.
"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!" I scream again, pounding my feet into the pavement. The light of my house brightens the sidewalk as I near it. And as I walk up to the door, I can feel the burning sensation you get when you need to cry. Whipping open the door I race upstairs, and into my bedroom.
"I hate you Freddy!" I cry into my pillow, as I throw myself onto the bed. Now the tears start running, and they probably won't stop for a while. Glancing at my phone on he table I pick it up. I need to text someone, maybe Kale or Tomika. But Tomika's mad at you right now. Groaning I look up Kale's number and dial it.
"Come on, come on. Pick up!" I whisper urgently to the phone.
"Hey it's me Kale!" She say cheerfully.
"Oh Kale I....." I start.
"I'm sorry I'm not able to come to my phone right now, I'm probably off saving a endangered species! I'll call you back as soon as global warming stops. Bye!!" I whimper, and slam the phone down. Kale probably won't call me back, and that means I need to call Tomika.
"Come on Summer, woman up!" I tell myself, as I put the phone back to my ear.
"Summer?" I hear Tomika's voice pick up. Come on you can do it, I start to cry again. "Summer, what's wrong?" Tomika questions me.
"Freddy!" I blubber through my tears.
"You're still mad at him from earlier?" This time she doesn't sound so worried.
"No, I forgave him. But then he went to movie night with that Meagan girl, and basically ended up getting half naked, if you know what I mean!" I scream into the phone, my hands shaking with the anger I feel.
"Hey, what was that?" Tomika asks. I blink hard. "Sorry I didn't hear you I'm over at Lawrence's, with Zack, they were just arguing."
"You know what, nothing." I lie, and hang up. No one ever listens to me, and it's frustrating. "Gah!" I scream in anger, chucking my phone at the wall.
"You know, that probably wasn't the best idea." I hear a snotty voice say. Gasping I turn to face the wall near my window.
"Meagan? What are you doing here?"
Holy crap! How did Meagan get in without Summer seeing her? What is Meagan going to do??
