Tomika's POV
I watch Summer run into the classroom, and I automatically jump into action. My feet running after her. Shoving Freddy I race into the room. Summer has her face buried in her hands. That's not good.
"Summer!" I sigh, and slowly walk up to her. "What's wrong?" She slowly sits up, and looks me in the eyes.
"Tomika, I ran into Freddy!" She groans. "Literally."
"Yeah, I know. I saw it happen." I say, sitting in my desk.
"Now I'm just going to look like an idiot. I've just embarrassed myself horribly." Summer whines, sinking deeper into her seat.
"Summer, when have you ever let embarrassment stop you? Almost never." I boast, to her. Sometimes she just needs a little lift. Summer smiles softly and turns back to the front right as the rest of the students enter.
"Are you okay Summer?" Freddy asks her as he passes by. I gulp and wait for her response.
"I'm just fine. I haven't broken anything." She chirps cheerfully. "Other then my pride, and my relationship with Freddy." She adds, mumbling.
"What?" Freddy pipes up, after hearing his name. Looking at Summer.
"Nothing." I hiss, pulling Summer's shoulder, so she faces the front. Sighing, I then face the front to, no sense in embarrassing myself to. I won't ever admit it to anyone, but I like Freddy almost as much a Summer does. And it kills me to see her go after him.
"Good morning class, how's is it going!" Mr. Finn says marching into the room. Wearing the biggest smile I have ever seen.
"What's going on?" Lawrence asks from his seat, raising his hand.
"Oh well if you insist I tell, I will." Mr Finn says, flipping his hair. "There's going good to be a big Christmas party at our school, including a dance, and a day dedicated to decorating rooms and fun activities." He shouts. Clicking a butting he holds in his hands. I gulp, what did he just do. Then a cloud of white paper and fluff blows around the room.
"Seriously!" I shout, shooting a glare at Mr. Finn.
"It's snow!!" He yells, and dives onto the floor. "Well it's certainly not soft snow." He groans. And we all groan back.
