weeks passed since i took dan to the hospital and since i was threatened by carson and tanner. of course, we all pretended that it never happened and we started hanging out at school. they pulled on fake smiles and even got me to join the school's baseball team.

it was kinda fun i guess, i met pj and chris who were cool and funny people, except they were on the same page as me; suspicious of carson and tanner. but we all hung out like nothing was wrong and it was a fun time without dan here messing everything over.

"did you hear about what louise said in science today?" chris asked me with the biggest smile across his face, he was always interested in what louise had to say since he liked her.

"what did she say?" i asked, not really paying attention.

"all she did was talk back to the teacher along side dodie." pj interrupted into the conversation. dodie clark was another friend i met since i got back, her real name was dorothy but she preferred dodie as a nickname.

chris bit the inside of his lip as us three turned the corner to the boys locker room so we could get change for practice.
