Chapter 29: Deals To be Made

Diana's POV

I woke up and the feelings of the fireworks from last night still hammered my body. Of course, I wasn't complaining. I was finally fully mated to the greatest, most loving man in the world and it felt....absolutely amazing.

As soon as I got up, I sped walked to the bathroom to shower. I needed to be alone in my thoughts for awhile.

I heard Pierce stirring in the room and he growled when he realized I was gone. The bathroom door opened and I saw a tall, muscular figure walk into the bathroom. He looked at me in the blurry shower door through the mirror and his eyes leaked black. 

"Mind if I join you?" He asked in his morning voice.

"I would say yes, but I'm hungry and you and I both know that if you got in this shower with me we wouldn't be getting out for a while."

He growled, but respected my privacy and got ready for the day. I could smell his cologne and it took all my willpower not to call him into the shower with me. 

I quickly finished and realized I had totally forgot clothes...and a towel. Well shoot.

I stepped out of the shower completely naked and Pierce's eyes went straight to me. I could smell his wolf getting stronger and starting to come out so I just ran straight to my dresser to get my clothes. He (of course) chased me like a dog chasing a squirrel. 

I grabbed underwear and a bra and pulled them on lightening fast, then I grabbed a long T-shirt and pulled that over my head. 

He frowned and shook his head so his hair got messy.

"Sorry....it's just hard to control."

"It's okay." I laugh at the situation.

For breakfast, I ate 7 pancakes, three eggs, and a whole 10 strip pack of bacon. Of course, wolves eat a lot compared to humans but that was still much for a female wolf. 

I belched after finishing my meal and Pierce patted my back.

"That's my girl!"

"Pierce?"

"Yeah baby?"

"Could I...talk to you for a couple minutes?"

"Of course angel."

I sit on Pierce's lap and curl into his chest. It smells so good......No! Not what we're here for!

"Listen, so I think we need to talk about what happened to me. Because I feel like you're trying to avoid it."

Pierce looks at the ground and I can see pain, followed by anger in his eyes. 

"Okay."

"So where I was brought, Alpha Rick keeps his unused slaves there and it's basically a death camp. There are so many innocent people there and..."

"And...?" His eyes are turning black now. I put my hand on his cheek and that brings him back to Earth.

"I think we should go back and free them. As well as kill Rick for what he's done." My face turns serious so I can show Pierce how serious I am about this plan.

"I think that's a great idea."

"Really?!" I ask, smiling.

"Yes, I'll send troops over to take care of it right now."

My smile turns to a frown. "No Pierce, I want to be the one who helps save them and I want to kill Rick."

"Absolutely not." He growls and his nostrils flare.
