Chapter 19: Evelyn and Hugo

Author's Note: Hey guys! I decided to update early since I just felt the need to write today. Diana's POV

I woke up on the bed with Pierce nowhere to be found. And empty feeling swelled inside me and I was just about to get up when Pierce casually walked out of the bathroom. I quickly laid down and pretended to be asleep.

His body was dripping with water and his hair was wet and spiked. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and a smirk on his face.

"Hmmmmmm....I guess this is the time of day I say all my secrets out loud while Diana sleeps." He whispers in my ear seductively.

My wolf squealed like a little girl and I rolled my eyes. Then I bit his bottom lip. And, oh, this wasn't a nice bite...I bit it HARD.

He yelled out loud and fell to the floor on his butt. How to make a fool out of an Alpha 101, written by Diana Rochester! I can see it now!

He fake pouted at me, then smiled.

"Come on, we need to get ready." He holds out his hand and I take it.

"For what?" I ask.

"Don't you mean, for who?"

I just sit there confused when he answers my unspoken question.

"My twin brother and sister are coming to visit today."

"I didn't know you had siblings!" I scold him for not telling me and he chuckles.

"You never asked!"

We both laugh and go get ready. I straighten my hair, put a long bohemian dress on, and a flower crown along with some simple makeup. I figured that it wouldn't be appreciated if I wore sweats to meet my mates family, though it was tempting.

Pierce commented on how amazing he thought I looked and we walked down the stairs holding hands. As we reached the bottom I began to hear loud laughter. We made our way into the kitchen and I saw two people, a boy and a girl, who looked about 20-ish years old. The girl was beautiful, blonde, and skinny with striking fiery eyes and long legs. The boy was also slim but he had chocolatey brown hair and a very attractive, God-like look to him. A lazy smile played over his lips as he studied me. The girl looked over, realizing we were there and her eyes lit up.

"Pierce!" she tackles him with a hug, "I missed you so much!" She snuggles herself into her neck and my wolf is on high alert.

'Relax. She's his sister!' I scold her and she calms down.

"Evelyn, I'd like you to meet my mate, Diana Rochester." He gestured to me and smiles.

"So so nice to finally meet you! I've heard so much about you from mom!" She hugs me tightly and I'm taken back before I hug back in return.

"Pierce can't shut up about you either." Evelyn's brother walks toward us and man hugs Pierce before hugging me too. Pierce -of course- watches him carefully with narrowed eyes.

"I don't miss you anymore brother," Pierce chuckles, "Diana, this is Hugo."

"Nice to meet you Hugo." I say shyly and he just smirks.

"Oh come on Luna, I'm not that scary." Hugo teases.

"H, stop! Don't make our new family member uncomfortable!" Evelyn laughs.

"So Hugo, Evelyn, what do you think about going to dinner tonight so we can catch up?"

"Eve, you cool with that?" Hugo turns to his twin and she nods, "Sure big brother, that'd be great."
