Our bedroom was absolutely perfect! It was a large cabin style room with hardwood floors and wooden walls that turn to brick once they near the window. By the window, there are two large lazy boy recliner chairs and two more large windows with curtains. The window had a beautiful view of the snowy mountains that surrounded the mansion. The king size bed was very squishy and the blankets were by far the softest thing I had ever seen in my life. The ceilings were high and had boards holding it up. Next to the bed, there were flower vases on bedside tables and there was a fireplace next to the bed.
I walked through another door in the room and saw a beautiful, elegant master bathroom. If I had to explain how beautiful the room was, it would take me hours.

There was a vanity, two sinks (one for me, one for Pierce), a spacious shower, and a beautiful bathtub. It also had high ceilings and a victorian chandelier hanging from the ceiling. This was like nothing I'd ever seen! It was all so new to me...
Tears sprung to my eyes.
"Thank you," I whispered, "thank you so so much."
"Anything for my angel."
I hugged him. Of course it felt weird because we had just met but our connection was stronger.
I felt for once like I was loved in the world. I felt for once that I had hope. Hope for a better life.
I realized that Pierce didn't know what I was getting so emotional about. I haven't even told him about my past. Other than my parents.
"Are you alright? You look spaced out." He held my face so gently.
"Yeah. Can we sleep?"
"Of course." He said kissing my forehead.

After that we got ready for bed. Nothing special. Pierce gave me one of his t-shirts and some basketball shorts to wear. They were huge on me but I didn't care. My body needed sleep, that's all that mattered.
I laid on the bed and sighed in contentment. I am so so lucky.
"Comfy?" Pierce laughed.
"Very!" I chuckled, grinning.
After only a few minutes he was in the bed. I made him lay across from me since if we had just met and I didn't want to go too far yet. He was reluctant, but finally agreed.
