Chapter 30: A Flawed World

Pierce's POV

I opened my eyes and everything felt wrong. 

The first thing I did was scream in anger, the second thing was scream in sadness because I knew Diana was in danger and I wasn't there.

I couldn't feel her there, I couldn't feel the amazing love I always felt when she was there. But there was something strange that I did feel. 

I felt another heartbeat, not hers, but a smaller one connected to her......a baby.

How could this happen?

I realized that there was a chance that Diana was still alive but she was hiding herself from me. But she didn't know about the smaller thing connected to her so I could still feel something from her.

I was going to round up the boys but I realized that this was something I had to do alone. I had to find her myself.

Diana's POV

I felt Pierce wake up and knew I had to speed things up. 

Rick and I shook hands after one of my women let him off the ground. 

"Outside." I ordered.

He looked at me and almost corrected me for bossing him around, but then huffed and jogged out the still opened front door.

I walked out and cracked my knuckles, taking a deep breath.

I had waited my whole life for this, yet I still felt that I wasn't ready yet.

I began to think about all the times he beat me. All the times that I wanted to kill myself because of him. All the times I thought about my parents and cried over how they were dead because of him..

Flashback

"My little bunny, you must always do whats right no matter what. Even if its scary, even if you're alone or if I'm not there. You always do whats right.

"Daddy, don't talk like that! You'll always be with me!" 

He smiles faintly and grabs my hand.

"That's right munchkin."

I hear the echo of their screams in my head and Rick takes his stance while snarling at me.

"You killed my parents..... they didn't deserve to die. No one deserves to be left without the ones they love. Not even your Luna, or my mate. And especially not the families of those poor prisoners of yours."

I drop my hands from their fists and run into the house as fast as I can. I rip Rick's room apart and find his stash of keys, grab the key to the cells and scream.

"Lets go girls!!"

They follow and I can hear Rick screaming at me. I just keep running and grin to myself

'You did the right thing little Bunny.' Gretchen says to me.
