-Hey mate- I greeted Sousuke when I entered the cafeteria.
A small smile appeared on his face, his teal eyes seemed softer.
-Just so you know, I decided that I'm going to continue with the therapy- he said rubbing his neck.
-Wonderful- I said with a big smile on my face.
-And you don't have to come with me.
I frowned.
-But I want to.
-It's fine, I have to do this by myself. I'm convinced now that it's for the better. So there's no way I'll be skipping it anymore.
-That's good to hear.
I smiled sweetly like a proud mother. We thanked for the food and started digging in.
-So is the party still happening tonight?- asked Sousuke.
-Of course! You are coming, right?
He nodded.
-Can I join you? -said Rin approaching our table with his tray.
Sousuke moved to the side.
-Where are you going tonight?- asked Rin cautiously.
-Remember the party I told you about?
He nodded.
-Well, that one. Sousuke agreed to come with me.
-Good.
-You're not coming?- asked Sousuke.
-No- said Rin.
-You should.
-You know I don't like them.
-Yes, you do. I don't know why you're always saying that.
Rin glared at him.
-Well, if you change your mind call me and I'll give you the address, it's not far from where we live- I said smiling a bit.
Rin looked me in the eyes and started to blush a little. He looked pretty cute.

The day passed by really fast, before I knew it, I was having dinner with Haru.
-Why would you go to a party on Wednesday?-he asked.
-Why wouldn't you?
-It's Wednesday, you have lectures and practice tomorrow.
-That's what makes this even cooler.
-I don't follow.
-Then come and find out.
-I'm tired Noah, aren't you?
-A bit, but I just need music to keep going.
-And alcohol.
-A bit, yes- I said grinning.
-I'll go with you to the next one.
I smiled widely.
-So, next week?
Haru sighed.
-Fine.
-Awesome, mind if I invite the others as well?
-Go ahead- he said with his eyes fixed on the mackerel in front of him.

At 20:50 hrs, I was walking to the train station, when suddenly someone grabbed my waist and put me up like if I were a baby.
-What the fuck Rin?- I said failing to look angry, I was more scared that he tickled me than anything.
-Hey ya mate- said with a thick accent.
-Put her down man- said Sousuke behind him.
Both of them were blushing and grinning, suddenly I smelled alcohol.
-Were you drinking?
-Yep- both answered.
-Why?- I said chuckling at the sight of both.
-Cause Rin didn't want to come so I bought beers and he agreed- said Sousuke proud of himself.
-Oh, man. Do you still want to go?- I asked them.
-Fuck yeah- said Rin grabbing my hand and walking to the train station.
-You both are going to be hammered tomorrow morning and it's not going to be my fault- I said.

The party wasn't really good, but with both of them laughing his asses off for nothing, it was the funniest thing for me. The music was very diverse, it could go from the american hits of the moment, to electronic european music. I tried to stop them from drinking more, but they were significantly stronger than me, so there wasn't much I could do. I was impressed by how much drinks they could handle though.

When the party started to die out, I took one more beer from the kitchen counter and went to sat in one of the couches. It was so funny to watch all the drunk international students talking in their mother languages to each other without understanding. Suddenly I felt someone sitting down close to me.
-Why don't you drink?- said Rin.
I showed him the beer can.
-But that's like your first.
-It's my third actually.
-You should drink more, I've already lost count of mine.
-Of course you have, but I won't do the same cause I have to get you home.
-Would you do that for me?
-Yeah.
-Thanks.
He stared at nothing for a few moments, maybe he was trying not to fall asleep.
-Why do you want to help Sousuke?- said Rin with a bored/drunk expression.
-You don't?
-I do, but I want you to be with me as well.
-You mean spend time together?
-Obviously.
-What do you suggest?
-For starters I want to teach you my language.
-Then tell me when you're free. I'd like that too.
-Fridays.
I glared at him.
-Sorry, but that's the only day I can.
-What about weekends? We went out last weekend.
He shook his head.
-On weekends we can go somewhere else, but I can teach you on Fridays.
-I like that plan.
-Me too. Don't tell Sousuke- he whispered letting his head fell on my shoulder.
-I won't- I said grinning and filming everything. He was going to get it.

Sousuke wasn't as drunk as Rin, so he helped me to get him to his bed when we got back. Well, basically we carried him.
-I'll walk you home.
-No, stay here- I said putting a hand on his chest to stop him.
-It's late, you shouldn't be walking by yourself- he said while rubbing his eyes to stay awake.
-It's fine, is a 5 minute walk from here. I'll come by tomorrow morning in case you don't listen to the alarm clock.
-You're so bossy, but I like it- said Sousuke before going to his bedroom.
I chuckled and rolled my eyes, put on my shoes and left.

At 8 am I knocked at their door. I waited a couple of minutes, but no one answered. I knocked again a couple of times, and a grumpy Rin answered.
-What the hell do you want?- he said with his eyes closed at the amount of light.
-Oh, you know, just wake you up so you attend to university.
-Noah? Wait, what? What time is it?
-You have 15 minutes to get ready, where's Sousuke?
-Damn, don't yell at me- he said going back in his apartment. I entered as well.
-I'm not, you're the one with hangover.
He went into his bedroom.
-Sousuke?- I knocked on the other door.
-Hey- he said from behind.
-Oh, hey man. Thought you were still asleep.
He just got out of the shower. He had just a towel around his hips. Just one small towel. I locked eyes with him, so I wouldn't stare at his body.
-Not anymore. I had a blast last night Noah, thanks for the invite- he winked.
-You're welcome.
-Is Rin awake yet?
-Yeah, but he just got inside his room again, I hope he's changing already.
-Hope so.
Sousuke walked to Rin's room and slammed the door three times, before going back to his own room.
-YEAH YEAH I'M UP!- yelled Rin painfully.
He was so hungover.

Rin had to miss practice because he started to vomit after the first lecture, so he went home to rest and drink as much fluids as possible. Makoto was his substitute. After practice, Haru went to Makoto's place to study for an exam while I was cooking dinner for me. An idea popped in my head and I went to grab my cellphone.
-You alive?
-No, don't make me go to another party- said Rin.
-I didn't, Sousuke did.
-He's getting it.
-But he's stronger than you.
-No, he's not.
-Yes, he is. Have you seen his muscles?
-Please, don't start to act like my sister.
-I like men, I can't help it.

A few seconds after I sent the text, he called me.
-Hey, feeling better?- I asked.
-Not really.
He sounded really sick.
-I think I got the flu as well- he said.
-Damn.
-Yeah.
-You need to drink a lot of fluids. Have you eaten anything yet?- I asked.
-No, I don't have the strength to even move.
-Nothing at all?
-I ate a little before lunch, but I ended up throwing up again. I want soup though- he said before sneezing soundly.
-Bless you. I read that the miso soup and the zosui are good when you aren't feeling well.
-Yeah, that's true. I'll ask Sousuke if he can make me some.
-Which one do you prefer?
-Zosui, maybe.
-I can make some for you, but you'll have to wait around 30 minutes.
-You don't have to, really. I'll just ask Sou. No worries.
-It's no big deal.
-Well, if you want to see me that badly, then yes. I'd really appreciate it.
-Cocky much?
-Who? This hot redhead?
I could almost see him grinning.
-Shut up. I'll be there soon.

I finished the chicken salad I was making and left it on the counter, then I took an onion, some mushrooms and other vegetables and cut them in slices. I didn't have any kind of meat left, so I just cooked the rice and put everything in a kind of bottle to keep it warm with the boiled water.

It smelled good and tasted good. Thank God. I took my salad as well, before grabbing a jacket.
-You look terrible- I said when he opened the door, he was a bit pale.
-Thanks, I feel the same way. Come in- he said pulling me with more strength than needed towards him and closing the door. My right hand was resting on his abs, I repeat, on his hard abs. The warmth embraced me, but I didn't know if it was the heater in the apartment or his body temperature. One of his hands rested on my lower back.
-Sorry- he apologized.
My cheeks blushed instantly just like his.

Rin got a bit better, and attended practice the very next day. His yelling was muffled because of the mask covering his nose and mouth, but he could spread the flu to someone if he didn't. Anyways, Sousuke and I were chuckling every time he was bossing around. Rin was so close to gave us the finger and kick us out again.
