A couple of weeks more passed, and I had already gotten rid of the stupid crutches. Finally, but I still had to do some exercises as therapy at home, had to wear an ankle thingy to protect it and couldn't swim with the team yet, just a few slow laps for better healing. Since the pool was occupied in the afternoon, I swam when the practice ended. Rin would always stay with me, sometimes even Sousuke did. I really won the lottery with these guys.

-When are you going to talk to Haru?- asked Rin out of the blue, when we were on our way back to the dorms.

-What a sudden question

-Just answer me.

-I don't know.

-Knew you would say something like that.

-Then why did you ask?

-Because I may or may not have talked to Haru.

-What?- I stopped walking and turned to look at him.

-Relax, I just asked him when he'll be back at your flat, I even said you missed him.

-But I don't miss him.

-Keep lying to yourself. Anyways, he said same thing as you and avoided the subject. So I guess maybe in a couple of days.

-How are you so confident?

-Because, I made sure Makoto was listening and he also has a soft spot for you, so he will talk to Haru.

-Rin, I appreciate it but let me handle this, okay?

-Just wanted to give you both a boost or this will never end.

Rin kissed my temple and I hugged his waist and he continued.

-I mean, it's time for Haru to grow some balls and tell you he's moving in with Makoto for good, don't you think?

-He's moving in with him?- I said surprised.

-See? You miss him.

-No, I don't. But if he's serious about Makoto, I would like him to say it straight to my face.

-I was joking Noah, I don't know if he's planning that, but there has to be a reason why he doesn't want to come back- Rin asked not looking at me.

-Do you know something I don't?

-No

-Then why does it feel like that?

-Noah, I know nothing okay? Now let's go, it's getting chilly- He said intertwining our hands and pulling me with him.

That night I did a lot of thinking after finding myself completely alone in those walls, I tried to work on my essays but I didn't go further than 2 pages, so I went to the kitchen to eat something, but as soon as I opened the door of the fridge I wasn't in the mood to eat anymore. I poured myself a glass of water and before I knew it, I was lying on Haru's bed. I was a bit surprised when I couldn't smell him, but he hasn't slept here in days so it was understandable.

When I was falling asleep I tried to get up and leave, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. He's not gonna find out anyways, since he doesn't come here anymore.

I guess Rin was right.

I missed the dolphin.

I slept in Haru's room for a few days, before he found me on a Saturday morning sleeping soundly on his bed. He waited until I woke up to have a talk. I rubbed my eyes when I was on my way to the bathroom, but the sound of the flush woke me up completely. I stopped abruptly and didn't move until the person using the toilet got out, I sighed when Haru's figure unveiled in front of my eyes and then I noticed I was holding my breath.
