Take a chance on me

Prologue

"Hi? How are you?" 

Someone ask me while I'm in the counter checking my bills and other stuffs about sa condo na bibilhin ko.

I looked at her.

Her genuine smile.

Her beautiful and convincing eyes.

Yang mga tingininan at ngitian na yan ang nakapagpahulog sa akin noon.

And also naging dahilan kung bakit maaga akong nasawi.

"Hey. I'm d-doing good!" I answered her with my genuine smile too.

"Maam, Excuse me,This is the bills and the contract. This your key to your new room. It'll be our pleasure to help you in case you need something. "

The girl in the counter intervene our convo. I looked at her.

"Thank you." I said and held my keys and stuffs.

"uhm. Sorry but please excuse me." I politely said to her.  I don't know what to say, it's better to leave her.

Baka maulit ung nangyari dati pag nagstay pa ako.

I didn't wait for her reply I just walk away from her.

Pero bago pa man ako maka 2 step-away-from-her. Ay bumalik ako.

I faced her and say, " It was nice seeing you again Louisse."

I lend my hand at her. 

"O-oh y-yeahh.. Your right." she answered before she held my hand to do a proper handshake.

But instead of handshake.

She pull me closer. And.....

Hug me. 

Hindi ako makapagsalita. I think nalunok ko na ata dila ko. Naestatwa ako sa kinatatayuan ko habang nakayakap sa kanya. I want to push her away from me, pero di ko alam kung paano. 

"I missed this Alex....." she said bago niya ibaon ang mukha niya sa leeg ko.

WHAT THE FUCK?! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO HER??

"I miss you, Alex" She said as I felt my shirt going wet and hearing sobs from her.

And that's when I totally broke down.

I pushed her away. 

"Please, don't  do this."

"It's all in the past. Please, forget everything about you and me. Please don't say those words again. 'cause I don't want to hear it again especially from you. 'Cause I-i already moved on. So just-- Please be happy." 

I said  before walking away from her. I don't want to see your face, your eyes that's full of tears. I don't want to go back from the old me, who used to be crazy in love with you. 

Before I enter my keys, I wiped my tears on my face.

"Ayoko na Louisse, Tama na, Hindi ko na kasi kilala ung sarili ko. Ayoko na din kasing mahulog sa maling tao. Tama na ung sakit na naramdaman for the past 3 years.  Hanggang ngayon kasi sariwa pa. Good bye for now Louisse."
