After Louisse scolded me, we ate in silence. I paid the bill and then we went home.

Tahimik lang sa loob ng sasakyan. Only the sound of the radio is the noise inside the car. I secretly look at Louisse. She was peacefully looking at the window, while me. Contemplating things about what happened earlier.

I admit, i kinda got hurt when Louisse told me that we shouldn't eat there because it is malayo nga and we're tired pa from work tapos long drive pa.

I felt like my effort wasn't appreciated.

But i understand her naman. She was only thinking about me. Parehas kaming pagod sa trabaho, kaya siguro nagkasagutan kami.

I don't want to start arguments with Louisse, tama na yung ilang taon kaming hindi ayos. Nakakapagod na kasi yung paulit ulit na away.

Pagkarating namin sa tapat ng unit ko at unit niya ay hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko.

"Uhm"

"A-ano"

Sabay na sabi namin.

I gulped and looked down.

"Goodnight"

"Goodnight"

Sabay ulit naming sabi. Ako ang unang tumalikod at pumasok sa unit.

Pagpasok ko ay nagdirediretso ako sa aking kwarto.

I dive into my bed and let my body rest. Pagod na pagod ako sa trabaho. Dad's continuously visiting my office because of loads of work. He was guiding me at the same time teaching me.

I looked at my table and saw piles of books.

Mga reviewer ko.

I'm planning to take board exam on October next year. November pa lang ngayon pero Dad and I talked about it. Kami pa lang dalawa ni Daddy ang nakakaalam nito. I will file a three month leave on work. That's why tinatambakan talaga ako ni Daddy ng trabaho para hindi daw mahirapan ang maiiwan ko sa office at para na rin mas mahasa ang skills ko.

Hindi ko na namalayan ang oras at nakatulog na ako habang hawak ang phone ko.

I woke up on a wrong side of the bed.

Mom called me, she's asking me when will i visit her, she said also na namimiss niya ako kasi the last time i visit her was a week ago and my Mom's too clingy today that's why she's asking me to visit her today.

I told her i have a full sched pero susubukan ko pa rin after all ayoko naman magtampo si Mommy sa akin.

After the call, i fixed my self and prepare for work.

Pagkarating ko sa parking lot ng building ay hawak ko ang memo at binabasa ito. Napatigil lang ako sa pagbabasa ng may biglang tumawag sa akin.

"U-uy"

I know that voice. It's her.

Pero hindi pa rin ako tumigil sa pagbabasa.

Ang aga naman niya, hindi pa ako ready kausapin siya.

Tumigil siya sa harapan ko kaya no choice. I removed my airpods before looking at her.

"U-uy, kanina ka pa?" i asked. 

"Di naman" mabilis na sagot niya.

Nakatingin lang ako sa kaniya. Walang nagsasalita sa amin. Biglang naging awkward ang paligid.

I don't know what to say, kaya para kaming tanga dito sa parking lot. Parehas naghihintay kung sinong unang magsasalita.

"A-ah sige, i need to go" she broke the silence.
