VIC'S POV
(Yes finally Vic's POV😂)

The smell of damp rushed up my nose. I groaned and rubbed my eyes. I squinted them open to find I was sat in darkness. I frowned, it must still be night.

I felt around in the dark. My surroundings didn't feel familiar at all.

A crack of light seemed to be coming from under a closed door.
I frowned again and slowly got up, checking for my phone in my back pocket.

I grabbed it and turned on the torch light.

The store cupboard?

How did I end up in the store cupboard?

I reached for the door handle and turned it.

It was locked.

I tried it again.
It wouldn't budge.

'Kellin?' I called.
There wasn't a reply.

Crack.

I snapped around.
'Hello?' I called, yet it came out as nothing more than a whisper.
No one was there.

Was it my mind playing tricks on me?

A small thumping sound came from the walls.

'Kells?' I whispered.

Thump
Thump
Thump

The noise was gradually getting louder

Thump
Thump
THUMP
THUMP

I could feel the pounding vibrate my chest, 'Kellin!' I called.

A soft laugh was heard over the dying noise of thumping.

My heart was beating hard against my chest, it felt like I couldn't breathe.

Snap!

My eyes darted across the confined room.

A light flickered on the wall, but didn't stay on.

Smash.

Glass shattered everywhere, but it managed to miss me.
A crunching noise echoed through the room, like someone was walking on the glass.
A cool breeze swept through the air.
The light flickered again.

I daren't breathe.
I couldn't.

I slowly slid down the wall, a tear trickling down my cheek.

The crunching got louder and closer.
I let out a small whimper as a strong draft brushed my face.

'Kellin.' But No noise came from my mouth.

Suddenly, the crunching had stopped.
Everything was silent...

'Hello.' A deep voice whispered in my ear, nothing like Kellins.

A ear piercing shriek echoed throughout the room.

It was mine.

The door flew open, and stood there was Kellin.

'Get out! Now!' He yelled.

I didn't hesitate before jumping up and running into his arms, suddenly feeling safe as the sound of the door slamming echoed the room.

He kept me upright as my legs gave way,  I sobbed into his shoulder.

'It's okay.' He whispered, brushing his fingers through my hair.
I carried on crying, my heart still beating hard in my chest.

Was it all my imagination?
No, it seemed so real.

'Shhh.' He cooed, rubbing my back.

My sobs had stopped my lips were still quivering.

Whose voice was that?

'Kellin, I think there's someone else in this building.' I said, my eyes watering with fresh tears.

'It's okay, I'll sort it.' He whispered, tightening his grip on me.

'I won't let anything hurt you.'

And I believe him.
