KELLINS POV
Mike hadn't eaten in days. He hasn't moved, nor spoken.
Just simply sat there and stared into space.

Jaime gave me a sad glance then looked back to mike.
'It will get better.' Jaime said.
Mike raised an eyebrow, but didn't tear his gaze away from the wall he'd been staring at.
'It will, one day..' Jaime whispered.
Mike shook his head and sighed.
'It might not seem like it now, but it will. Time heals everything.'

Mike scoffed and then finally spoke up,
'Well I don't think time heals everything. Yeah, maybe it helps. Maybe after a while I won't cry about it all the time, it won't invade my every thought and maybe I'll do better, probably laugh.. smile.. I'll have good days.. But it will still be there, won't it?' He said, his voice cracking, 'I can't just learn to live with it, I don't want to admit that this is the way things are gunna be now.. maybe I'll get used to it but it doesn't mean the pain will go away. I'll still cry when I think about him too much, it will stop me in my tracks if something reminds me of him, I'll still have 32 years worth of memories. He's my older brother... So no, I don't think time heals everything. Maybe it will get better, who knows? But it's like a scar that will never heal.' Mike finished tears sliding down his face.

My bottom lip quivered as tears spilt down my face.
I needed to find him.
I had to..

--

'I'm not sure how much longer I can wait..' I muttered quietly to Jesse.
He sighed, 'You still can't get through portal walls though.'
'I can try..' I groaned.

The door creaked open, turning my attention to it.

'Uhh, I'm just gunna take Mike out to get some groceries. It might take his mind off things.' Jaime spoke.
I nodded and gave him a sad smile.

I waited for the door to shut before turning back towards Jesse.
'Please Jess..' I begged.
'We can keep trying I guess, don't get your hopes up though. We tried a lot last time with out any success.' He said.
I nodded and got up, leaving the room.

The hall lights had dimmed so it the room was slightly dark.
I reached to turn the lights brighter but a spark shot out the socket, making the light turn off completely.
I groaned and quickly went into a small cupboard which has torches.
I handed one to Jesse and shone the flashlight around the hall, sighing.
'How are we meant to practice in the dark?' I moaned.
Jesse shrugged before suddenly dropping his flashlight on the floor, which flickered slightly before the light went on.

'What the hell? You broke it?!' I exclaimed.
'I didn't mean to, it burnt my hand!' He frowned.
I picked it up and pressed the button, half expecting it to turn back on, but I didn't.
I groaned in frustration and chucked it back on the floor.
'We're just gunna ha-'
My light had turned out too.
'What the..?'
Bang!
A cool breeze swept through the air.
'Shit.' I cursed, knowing what was happening.
Another crash echoed through out the building as static energy built up, making the hair on my neck prickle up.
'Jesse..' I breathed.
I could hear his heavy breathing behind me.
Goosebumps were littered over my arms, and I shivered and wrapped my arms around me, trying to keep warm.
Smash
The sound of glass breaking erupted across the hall.
Smash
I looked at Jesse, I could only just about see him due to the small crack of light from the minuscule hole in the ceiling.
'Kellin.' Jesse whispered.
'Yeah?'
'What do we do?'

'Just stick with me..' I replied.

A loud banging noise came from above before we plummeted into complete darkness.
The light from the ceiling had been covered.

I cursed under my breath and hesitantly stepped forward.

The air was thick and heavy, making my throat dry and sore.
I coughed slightly and swallowed hard.
Something fell on my shoulder.
I quickly picked it off, trying to see it, but I couldn't in the darkness.
It felt like wallpaper.
A scratching noise came from all around, sending chills up my spine.
A large sheet fell above me, I quickly ripped it off, then realising it was wallpaper.
The wallpaper was being ripped off.
Chains rattled slightly.
Chains?
The only thing in here with chains is the chandelier..... oh fu-
Crash!
An deafening crash blasted through room, making my ear ring.
Small holes of light were coming from the ceiling.
I frowned and edged towards the wall.
A hard object smacked the top of my head.
Concrete?

I gasped.
The whole building was being torn apart.

'Shit, Jesse we have to go!' I yelled, heading for the store cupboard.
I could hear running behind me, I just crossed my fingers and hoped it was Jesse.
I swung open the door to the store cupboard and with one last pump of adrenaline, I charged at the door, with one thing in my mind as something grabbed my hand.

Take me to Vic..
