The feral wolves charged at the scattering crowd as Discord took his place in the center of the madness. When the shock had washed over, many people began shifting into their wolves and fighting back.

Wolf tore apart wolf and any who were too slow or too weak to fight back were killed so quickly you could hardly tell it had happened. These changeling creatures fought back with all their strength, but in reality, they were no match for the ferocity of a werewolf.

The only advantage they really had over us was the large and unwavering amount of changelings at their disposal. We would have to endure constant attacks from them if we wanted to survive.

I rush over to Alpha Caitriona, blood still dripping from her mouth. She was shaking a little but not as violently as before. I pick her up and hide her behind a large rock in hopes she will be safe.

"M-My body is on fire!" She coughs out. "What are those... those things? I have never seen creatures like that before."

"They are the product of what happens when hatred and darkness combine," I respond. "They are weak but so plentiful, I don't know how long we can last."

Alpha Caitriona doubles over as she screams out in pain. Soon it passes over and she looks at me with a determined face.

"Go." She commands. "Something tells me you are the only one that can end this."

I stare at her, "I don't know what I'm doing! I can't end this! Truth be told I've been improvising this entire time!"

She chuckles, "No one ever knows what they are doing, but you will be more help out there than staying here and watching me."

I open my mouth to speak again but she cuts me off.

"Go... I'll be fine..."

I hesitate for a moment but I eventually nod in understanding. I rush out into the battle, dodging attacks from the feral creatures and avoiding getting caught and outnumbered.

I only had one target on my mind.

There he stood, in the center of it all, watching with a look of joy on his face at the chaos he had created. The spiny spriggian's laugh fills the air, entertained by the horrors that go on before him. He turns and begins to walk away, eyeing the land. My teeth sharpen in rage as I feel the fur grow on my back.

"KOSMAS!" I shout.

He stops dead in his tracks. The loud noises from the raging battle seem to diminish as he slowly turns around to find the source that has called out to him.

"Who foolishly dares to call me by that vile name..." His voice is low and cold, the name alone had ripped out the joy he found from the bloodshed going on around us.

"I do." I proudly state.

He narrows his large eyes at me and scoffs, "You again?" He then cocks his head to the side and examines me.

"Don't I know you from somewhere?" The spriggian asks.

"You do! You attacked me and left a scar that will never go away, just like my hatred for you!" I speak as I show the claw mark on my arm.

He looks at my arm and then back to my face, a wicked smile curling on his lips.

"No. I remember you from a time long passed." He states. "You were that baby that escaped from that fire I set years ago... I almost didn't recognize you without your mother's blood on your face!"
