"Birdo, you're crazy if you think this is gonna solve your 'problem' with Yoshi. It's too late. He's mine," Toadette emphasized the last two words.
"Yeah, okay," Birdo replied sarcastically in between her loud yells.
"So how do I get outta here?" Yoshi thought to himself.
After he held up the sword, he decided to go back and get the others. He knew that he had to walk back the way he came to find the hatch under the hut. Yoshi creeped out of the book room and into the tunnel.
"The exit tunnel!" Yoshi remembered Waluigi almost walking down there.
He looked left to find the tunnel they decided to bypass. He read the sign laying on the ground nearby.
It said 'Exit'.
"Sweet!" Yoshi said aloud and ran into the tunnel.
He instantly rammed his face into a large piece of cold, hard rock and fell to the ground.
"Wha?" he couldn't believe what just happened. There was a small note on the boulder. He snatched the note right off the rock.
Exit being installed: 11/1
"You gotta be kidding me," Yoshi groaned. "IT'S ONE DAY OFF???"
Yoshi took his frustration out on a small rock that he decided to throw as hard as he possibly could. It flew into the darkness, farther down the tunnel.
He thought he heard it hit something before he saw the rock clank back to his foot.
"Huh?" he looked at the rock and then squinted his eyes down the tunnel.
He could see the outline of a person.
"That's definitely the person I didn't want to see," Yoshi thought and decided to run the other way, towards the trap door of the hut.
"I think he may be focused on other things, rather than hearing what your loud mouth hole has to say," Toadette said, annoyed of Birdo's constant screaming.
"How else is he gonna get alerted?" Birdo answered.
"I don't know!" Toadette yelled back.
"Good thing I brought my megaphone," Birdo said with a grin.
"Maybe I should end it now," Toadette sighed.
"Haha, the world would be a better place without you anyways. Yoshi wants a capable being, not some snobby little kid," Birdo spat in her face.
"That's it," she growled and they started to fight.
Yoshi ran all the way back under the hatch of the hut.
"Come on . . ." Yoshi struggled to move the large piece of flooring out of the way so he could climb up. Using all his strength, he just barely got it to slide over, just enough so he could slip the sword on up and pull himself through.
