Betty arrived at the Lodge household, wondering if Hermione was expecting her although she knew the woman would gladly let her stay over for as long as she needed. Betty gave Smithers a smile, thanking him for the ride and headed up the stairs to Veronica's front door, she wondered if Polly was home, unsure if she'd be out getting fresh air or possibly sleeping seem as the babies seemed to tire her out. But she was greeted with Hermione who smiled brightly at Betty, leaving the door open for her as she quickly darted back into the house, Betty in toe eyes dancing around the room as they always did when she walked in, wondering if Veronica or Hermione had brought anything new.

"Betty, Veronica told me you were staying over, thankfully I'm almost done cooking," Veronica called as she rushed into the kitchen, hurriedly shuffling the pan so that her food didn't burn. "Is everything alright at home?"

Betty let out a sigh, dropping down on the couch, glancing around for any sign of Polly but it seemed relatively empty. Betty knew her mother hated Betty telling Hermione about all of the drama going on in her house, but she trusted her and she knew if Hermione had wanted to spill everything to everyone it would've been done by now. "My mum found out about me and Veronica and I-uh...she did something and I don't want to be in that house right now, thanks for letting me stay over."

Hermione popped her head around the doorway and smiled warmly down at Betty, "It'll cool over, but in the mean time, mi casa es su casa. You might want to go and let your sister know your here though. It might be best not to tell her about the argument, she's already stressing about those babies."

Betty nodded, lifting her bag up with her and quickly making her way to Polly's room making a quick pit stop at Veronica's bedroom to place her bag in there. Polly's room used to be the guest room but seem as she practically lived with the Lodge's the room had become hers and the babies, Betty tapped lightly on the bedroom door, anxious to see her sister. That was the one other Cooper she cared about most, even if they'd basically been separated for months, she still cared for her older sister as much as she did before.

"Come in," Her voice rang out, gentle and soft as always. Betty pushed open the door, putting on her brightest smile as she found her sister sitting on her bed, half indulged in a book but looking up at the guest, placing the book down almost instantly when she saw her little sister. "Betty!"

Betty laughed excitedly, that previous anger seemed to leave itself at the door of the Lodge's because Betty could feel a burst of happiness swell in her chest at the sight of her sister. Betty moved forward in a few short steps and sat beside her sister enveloping her in a hug, careful of her bump. Polly held her back just as tight, needing a hug from her as much as Betty had needed one. Polly knew Betty wasn't just here to say hello, she could see it in her face but she also knew the blonde wouldn't speak about her problems with Polly whilst she was pregnant, scared she might harm the baby if Polly worries for her. Growing up in the Cooper household was almost as worse as growing up in the Blossom household, controlling parents seemed to be a big thing in their little town.

"It's so good to see you!" Betty giggled, pulling out of the hug to get a look at her sisters face, then letting her eyes drift to the bump which looked as though it had gotten bigger the last time Betty had saw it. "You look like you're about to burst."

Polly rubbed a hand over her stomach, laughing lightly at her sister's words. "You should see how hard it is to get in a comfortable sleeping position, plus the kicking...I'd advice you to be prepared if you want kids Betty." Polly warned, but a smile remained on her face as she looked back up at Betty, a genuine look crossing her face. "How are you? Mum's not on your back again, is she?"

Betty averted her gaze, looking at the creme coloured floor, "I'm getting by...mum is well...she's mum so you know, but it's nothing for you to worry about. How are you and the twins?"

"We're good, although they're feeling a lot heavier now...Betty...I wanted to ask you something seem as I'm only a week until my due date now..." Polly started, glancing up at Betty nervously but could tell by her sisters tone that she was nervous and she reached out and slipped Polly's hand into her own, encouraging her on. "Jason can't be there when the twins are born, and I was...I was wondering if maybe you could be there with me?"

Betty was stunned, it was a big thing to be there for the birth and she wasn't exactly sure how she'd handle it. Every time she saw a movie with a woman giving birth she'd have to block her ears and look away, the screams running straight through her, plus she knew that the mother could lose a lot of blood during birth and the thought that Polly could get sick or be harmed, it terrified her. But the sparkling look of hope in her sisters eyes told her she didn't want anyone else there and Betty knew she couldn't turn her down, so she nodded politely a shaky smile on her lips as Polly's eyes welled up with tears at her sisters answer.

"Of course, Polly. I'd be honoured."

Polly just responded by grabbing Betty by the arms and pulling her into a hug, tears rolling down her cheeks in happiness. "I love you, Betty." Betty smiled against her, holding her back.

"I love you too." It had been a while since Betty had told a family member she loved them, mainly because nowadays it was getting hard to love anyone but Veronica in this town. It just seemed to be built on lies and deceit, but she knew her sister had been innocently thrown in the mix of all of it, just because she was trying to get out of it. She knew she still loved her sister, even if she never did say goodbye and even if she left Betty to live in the house alone and put up with her mother. She still cared.
