Finding Chuck was the easy part, he was holding a bag of ice to his eye where Veronica knew Archie had hit him hard enough to leave a black eye for the rest of the week. Yet she didn't give a shit about that, she cared about Betty about Archie, about the people she cared for. Meaning Veronica didn't give a shit whether she just made Chuck's pain worse, he deserved every bit of pain that came him way. Veronica felt the anger that flared through her body, her fists balled ready to take her hit. Chuck had been shifting the ice pack in his hands and Veronica took it as a brilliant time to take a swing at the asshole. It only took seconds before Veronica's fist had connected with Chuck's jaw, startling the boy who dropped the ice pack and held his jaw in shock at the sudden hit. But the moment his eyes met Veronica's she could see she'd only pissed him off more.

"Veronica Lodge...a little pissed I hit your friend, huh?" Chuck sneered, treating the whole thing like a joke as he got to his feet, towering himself over her to show he was bigger but Veronica didn't care.

"Leave us alone, Chuck. Or so help me I will ruin your life." Veronica spat, digging her nail into his chest as she poked him. Chuck simply smiled as though her words didn't scare him.

"I thought it would only be fair to let the school know their perfect girl next door was a nutjo--"

Veronica had grabbed hold of Chuck's shoulders yanking him down slightly, lifting her knee and slamming it as hard as she could into Chuck's private area, the boy let out a loud groan in pain crouching over as he held himself. Veronica glared, leaning down to his ear, just to make sure he hears clearly.

"Ever bring up what happened at the pool, ever. If you even glance in Betty's direction, in fact if you go in the same room as Betty at all. I will get my father to get some of his not-so-nice men on the outside, to not only show you what a real beating is, but to screw your entire family over, understood?" Veronica hissed, she could feel Chuck was tense and listening to her every word. No doubt in fear seem as everyone knew about her fathers business. "You see Chuck, you made a bad decision getting on my bad side. Because you might think Betty's crazy but you haven't seen my crazy yet. And believe me, you don't want too."

Veronica pushed away from him, shoving him so the back of his legs bumped the wall behind him. It was evident that he was scared, or angry. His jaw tightened, his eyes flickering from hers to the ground, trying to see if she was lying, his body still and strained and red from both of Veronica's painful hits. Veronica continued.

"If I come into school tomorrow and hear one single little word about anything new you've said about Betty...or me. Or any of my friends. I can guarantee that you'll have a few people waiting outside of the school for you tomorrow."

Veronica didn't bother giving him a chance to respond. She just thought it would be more effective and badass to just simply walk away without a word, adding a little sway to her hips in victory. She hadn't been lying about asking her dad to sort out her problem, if need be to protect her friends, she'd do it and she knew her father would be more than willing to help. Veronica was quick to head back over to Archie and Jughead seem she figured they be waiting for her, no doubt curious as to what she had done. Archie was first on his feet, his lips cleaned up and only a cut appeared on it, he moved quick Jughead at his tail both eager to know.

"What happened? Why were you so fast?" Archie pestered.

"Because Archiekins, I didn't him a chance to speak after I punched his jaw - which hurt like hell by the way - kicked his balls and threatened him." Veronica shrugged, glancing down at her knuckle which had gone bright red and was hurting from the punch. Archie and Jughead didn't seem surprised by her actions, she was Veronica Lodge. You don't go against a Lodge and the whole town knew that. Archie stepped forward giving her shoulder a squeeze in thanks.

"Let's hope your threats get through to him."

Veronica nodded. "Trust me, if he knows what's best for him, he'd listen because I wasn't joking around." Veronica told them. Jughead frowned at her words, tilting his head to the side, staring at Veronica.

"What exactly did you say?"

Veronica glanced at the dark haired boy in a beanie, she wasn't going to tell him or Archie, probably Betty. But she didn't want the boys to know that her father could get men to do his fights for him whilst he's in jail. So she just smirked.

"Never you mind, Jughead. As long as he follows it, he won't get hurt." Archie shared a look with Jughead and Veronica let a laugh escape before turning to head back up the stairs. "Come on, I left Betty in Pop's with my mum, the place had practically been empty."

Archie and Jughead followed her, not bothering to ask what she meant by he won't get hurt, knowing that that was something very dark for Veronica to say especially considering what happened to Jason. But they figured whatever Veronica had told Chuck, it would be enough to get the jerk to back off of Betty and leave her be. Veronica was wary about Chuck being in school with Betty tomorrow, she'd told him to stay away but he couldn't exactly just drop out of his classes without reason. Veronica just hoped if Chuck was in any of Betty's classes, Veronica was in there too, knowing she could make Betty keep her cool.
