I know I said I wasn't going. Believe me, I didn't want to go. Tonight wasn't a good night for me. It was a blue moon and that singled for me to prepare to go on my annual Holliday, known as heat. Where I stayed cooped up in my room for about a week, and didn't have any contact with anyone but my, mother.

But yet here I was, standing in a black suit with a purple tie and a black mask with purple details. I looked stupid.

"Come on let's go!" Totty giggled. He was just happy to dance with kou. I on the other hand, had no one to dance with. But on arrival everyone was so keen to get me involved, I barely managed to sneak away and sit on the wall surrounding the hall. There were some couples making out against the wall viscously.

It was ten at night, the blue moon was shining bright. I sat there looking up at it and felt my eyes glow slightly as the blue moon shined down on my pale face.

One thing no one understands about the supernatural, is that we all worship the moon and what it brings us. Ledgend has it, the moon used to choose the suitable mate for a Cat, and those two cats were made for one another. But it was just an old wives tale apparently, since, I've been through many full moons and never experienced such a thing.

I looked away and let my hand fall, looking down at it, that was until a little red string strung itself around my finger. I frowned since I couldn't feel it, I could only see it. I touched it over and over and nothing happened. It didn't go away and I still couldn't feel it.

"What the hell..." I mumbled.

The red string was attached to my ring finger, and it lengthened out with a tale, going towards the hall entrance. It tugged. I held my hand out and stared in the direction of the string, looking into the sea of people.

I walked inside and through the sea of people, looking only at my hand as I walked towards the scource of the tugging, my eyes must've still been glowing, as someone asked me where I got the cool contacts.

My heart pounded in my chest and I knew I was getting close to the scource.

I pushed through the crowd of people until the string led to one person in particular. His dark blue suit and tie, his Mohawk, his blue half mask.

"Oh god..." I mumbled and looked up at my older brother, who had the other end of this seemingly invisible string attatched to his marriage finger, which was raised high as he danced.

(Really short, sorry I wanted the cliffhanger )
