"Annnnd here we are!" Ashton exclaims as he pulls over to the side of the road and down a rocky path. "Tonight we're camping! Tomorrow it's a hotel!" Yay, i wonder who i'm sleeping with at the hotel. Probably Luke and Michael, just like in the car. "Let's set things up, then we can make a fire." Calum tells us and gets the tents from the back.
"How the hell are we supposed to do this?" Ashton exclaims while holding the tent's instructions. Calum grunts in response and hands a pole thing to Mikey. "Ugh, boys... You are all so dumb." I tell them and snatch the paper from Ash's hands.
"Hey!" Luke exclaims, pretending to be hurt. I roll my eyes and read the instructions. I groan and start to assemble the tent. In five minutes the tent is perfect. The boys look at me with a weird expression. "What? I used to go camping with my dad and uncle." I say and walk over to Calum and Jemima's tent. "Let me do this one too because you boys are idiots." I joke.
Hayden and Jemima snicker and come over to me. "We'll help." I smile up at them and hand them parts of the tent. "Here,"
In five more minutes their tent is finished. "Now since we set these up... You get to go and find wood!" Jemima says and points to the wooded area. "What?" Mikey complains. "You heard her! Now go!" I yell and laugh along with the girls.
After the boys leave we start talking. "What are some of your nicknames?" I ask them both. "I have Hay... That's kind of all." We laugh and look at Jemima. "Well people call me Jem, and Jemi."
"That's beautiful!" I tell her. "Thanks! What about you?"
"Well my name is Madeline.. But i hate that name. So i have people call me Maddie. Ashton calls me Mads. That's it." I chuckle and sit back in the chair. "So.. you and Luke, eh?" Hayden asks with a smirk. "Well.. I, uh, i may like him a tad.." I mumble into my hands. They girls laugh, "That's so cute! He likes you too, you know?" Jem says.
"Nah.. He wouldn't like me...." I claim.
"Did you see the way he looked at you this morning?"
I blush. "No i didn't.." "You like him a lot, don't you?" Hayden asks. "Yes... I do.." I confess with a huge smile. "Oh! That's so cute!" Hayden smiles and hugs me. I laugh at them and hug back.
"They boys are coming! Act natural!" Jem exclaims and strikes a weird pose. Hayden and i copy her, trying to hold in our giggles. "Hey we got th- What the fuck are you doing?" Luke asks. The three of us double over in laughter and tears.
"Oh.. My.." Jem laughs and grabs my arm for support. Hayden is close to falling on the ground and i am about to pee. "Stop.. laughing! I'm gonna pee!" I yell. Finally we all calm down.
We look at each other, then the boys and burst into laughter again
"Well... I'll just start the fire..." Luke mumbles and takes out his lighter. "Ash, can i have a smoke?" He questions. Ashton nods and tosses the small stick to Luke. "Thanks."
Ten minutes later we are all sitting by the fire. The sun is going down now. Hayden and Jemima are on their boyfriends laps, Luke and i share the two-person pull out chair and Mikey is sitting in the chair i was in before.
Before we knew it, the moon and stars were out and shining. My eyes burned from the lack of sleep and my head hurt. Jem and Cal went to bed already. Who knows what they're doing in their tent...
"Guys? Hay and i are going to get some... Sleep." He laughs and walks Hayden to their tent. "Night guys!!" I call out.
"Are you tired?" Luke asks me. I shake my head, "No." I was lying, i am really tired. But i want to stay up with Mikey and Luke. "Are you sure?" Mikey laughs. I nod and yawn. "Positive.."
The two boys start talking about random stuff when i lean my head onto Luke's shoulder. My eyes start to close and i feel myself drifting into a peaceful sleep.
