Maddie's P.O.V.

"Are you okay?" Jai asks when i hang up the phone. Calum just called me to tell me how Luke is doing. Apparently he isn't so well.. It's been six days since i ended it with Luke. Honestly i'm doing good. Jai, Ashton, Michael, Calum and the girls are helping me through it all.

"Yeah, i'm okay. Can i have a hug though?" I question. "Of course." He smiles and pulls me onto his lap. We were at Jai's house in his room.

I sigh and look at his wall. "What's wrong?" Jai asks me and looks into my eyes. "It's nothing.." I mumble and try to look away but Jai grabs my face. "Maddie, something is bothering you." Jai urges.

"It's just.. I'm mad that Luke was my first kiss, my first boyfriend, my first love, my first... you know.." I chuckle. "I'm just mad that i gave that all to him and he did that. Was i not a good kisser? Or a good 'fuck' as he calls it? Am i not good enough?" I ask.

"Oh, Maddie, don't think that. You are perfect. I'm sure you are a great kisser.." Jai whispers the end and looks into my eyes. I slowly lean in. Just as our lips are about to touch, Jai whispers: "Are you sure?"

Instead of giving him an answer i wrap my arms around his neck and pull him to me.

Our lips connect making a wild feeling shoot through my body. He pulls my body to his and his hands run up my back. It's like everything has disappeared. All my doubts and worries are gone as Jai kisses me.

The kiss gets heated and he lays me on the bed. The door flies open and someone gasps. I jump away from Jai on the bed.

"I'm so sorry! Oh my god!" Skip exclaims. "Get the fuck out!" Jai yells at Skip. He laughs and slams the door behind him.

"I'm sorry, Maddie.." Jai chuckles and grabs my hand. My cheeks were flushed and my heart was beating fast. Jai and i just kissed. "It's okay... And i'm sorry for kissing you. I wasn't trying to like attack you.." I mumble.

"Maddie it wasn't like that. You and i both know that." Jai says sternly.

"I have a question.." He nervously says.

"Yeah?"

"W-Will you go on a date with me? Like lunch and a walk? Today?" He smiles. "I understand if you don't want to.. Since you just-" Jai starts when he hears my silence.

"No, no. I want to. Sure. Let's do it." I smile and take his hand. "Can we just stop by my house so i can change?" I ask with a smile. "Of course." Jai says and takes my hand.

We get to my apartment and he walks me to the door. I open it to see Ashton, Michael and Luke sitting on the couch. I don't remove my hand from Jai's as i walk inside. "Hey Ash, Mikey... Luke." I smile. "Hey Mads, what are you doing?" Ashton asks with a smirk.

"Oh, i'm just getting changed and then we're going out to lunch. Maybe a walk." I smile. Hopefully they can't notice it's fake.. Luke's eyes are red and his hair is a mess. He was wearing a stained t-shirt and sweatpants. He looked terrible. He opened his mouth to talk but nothing came out.

"I'll be right back." I tell Jai and walk down the hall. I go to my room and find an outfit. My new All Time Low shirt fits perfectly. I think back to the concert Luke took me to... That was the best day of my life..

My door opens as i'm pulling my shoes onto my feet. "Maddie." Luke's voice comes out strained. "What do you want?" I sigh.

"So you're going on a date with him?" Luke leans against my door frame.

"Yes, actually, I am." I confirm. His expression falters and his eyes start to look glassy. "Please don't Maddie." He begs. "Luke, i'm going to go on a date with Jai. I'm sorry." I say and stand up.

"I didn't mean to kiss that girl. Or say those things..." He says and stops me from leaving my room. "Luke, just give me some time." I tell him. "But you're going on a date with Jai!" His voice raises. "Just stop.." I mumble and push past him. "Bye Ash, bye Mikey." I say and leave quickly with Jai behind me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, i'm fine. Let's go on that date, yeah?" I say and take his hand.
